Gadrasini Hill with cave - Featured Reviews (699)
Gadrasini Hill situated at a distance of 8 Km from Belpahari. Don't rely on google maps & ask locals. I went there in monsoon. We started trekking at 6 AM... & the rest is history... After 15 min it started raining cats & dogs. Although we all had our raincoat but uphill there was only one mandir. No shelter, not a single tourist or local was there. We almost stuck there for 3 hours. Non-stop rain, slippery rocks, gusts of wind. Even I can't express right now..... When the rain stopped, we clicked these photos. Thank god, we came back home safely. So, one advice, don't be overconfident, don't be fascinated by our adventurous trekking. Even if I ever go again, I'll go on winters. In monsoon this simple trek seemed hardest of all. (Declaimers : I'm an experience trekker.)
Provides a nice view from the second temple that is on top of the hill .. there is no view whatsoever from the first temple..the hike is very steep as it is the case for any plateau hills.. the trail also has no mentainance at all..
"The hill have eyes with positive energy" Sacred place surrounded with greenery. Vasudeb temple, Shiva temple and maa Garrasini cave are there. A place where you should not be worry about any danger. you must carry water / ORS liquid at the time journey to there. It will take average 30 minutes to reach at the top.
It was one of best sideseeing in belpahari as well as jhargram. But if you want to enjoy the actual beauty of this, you need to trek around 1 km. Further the road to reach top of the hill is very bad and risky. So try to avoid to trek if you are a senior citizen.
Hill has vary nice view from top. Takes 30 min to reach top spot from base. Halfway is the 1st temple. Another temple at top. Rocky and steep.
If you're planning to visit Gadrasini Hill with Cave, be prepared for a challenging journey to reach your destination. The roads leading up to the hill are not easy to navigate, and it's always a good idea to ask the locals for directions instead of relying solely on Google maps. This destination involves hiking, so make sure to wear sturdy shoes and bring along a hiking stick for added support. Don't forget to bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated throughout the trek. While there is supposed to be a cave at Gadrasini Hill, it was not visible during my visit, and the locals couldn't provide much information about it. However, there is a temple at the hilltop where you can take a break and rest after completing the climb. Overall, Gadrasini Hill with Cave is an excellent spot for adventure enthusiasts and nature lovers who enjoy a good hike.

This is a must visit place for young chaps. Why am I telling "Young chaps"? Because here you have to hike for around 20-30 minutes to the top of the hill, if you want to experience the most beautiful view of your Jhargram Diary. The hill is covered with a forest. The path inside the forest is very narrow and rocky. So you have to walk very carefully. There are two temples - one is in the mid way and one is at the top. You can rest there for few times. The view from the top is mind blowing. You cannot realise the actual beauty by only taking a glance at my photos. You should visit the place. But if you cannot hike, this place should not be on your list.
