Gadisar Circle - Historical landmark in Jaisalmer - Jaisalmer, India

It was very nice place. Little dirty downside where boating takes place. Boating is little expensive bit not worth. They should start steamer boat in lake for fun . The normal boat is not fun at all.

Gadisar Lake is located in the Jaisalmer district of the Indian state of Rajasthan. It was built by the founder of Jaisalmer, King Rawal Jaisal in 1156 AD and later rebuilt by Gadsi Singh Bhati around 1367 AD. This lake is an artificial lake. The lake is located about 1.5 km from Jaisalmer Fort.

The Sunset time is so beautiful. Would recommend people to visit this place mostly at evening time

Best spot for Sunrise/Sunset in Jaisalmer after the golden fort. You will definitely find peace here! Again ticket rates are somewhat high here as usual for Rajasthan tourism.

Nice lake surrounded by many temples with beautiful carvings in sand stone. An excellent place to watch sunrise and bird watchers. You can also enjoy boat rides here. Light n sound show performance every evening in tourist season. ( October to March )

Parking charges with no proper parking.
