Gadiara Tourist Spot - Tourist attraction in Gadiara - Howrah, India

It's a nice place from nature's point of view but it was not clean... Garbage like polythene, wrappers was all around. Of course it's a mistake of people who hang around there but if it is a tourist place then it's also a responsibility of the government. There should be more facilities like toilets, restaurants, shops and some more entertaining things.

One of the best one day destination from Kolkata if anyone ask for suggestion. Far away from the pollution and population, a total contrast to city life. Fresh air, sound of waves, seeing ships passing by. There's number of hotels and lodge available as well for stay. Bike or Car ride would be best, otherwise travelling 33 Km from Bagnan in a narrow state highway is hectic

Good clear view of river,sit & relax. Better organized areas need to be prepared for group picnic etc..& needs availability for drinking water & toilets. Huge area can be planned for better modifications.

A good place to visit to wash away your stress at the riverbank. Seating benches are available.

nice place for picnic and frnds hang out if someone go for a one day trip they can do their lunch at rupmanjari( WBTDC hotel) food is good environment is also good

Cloudy, Windy, Calm and yes, Beautiful. From Kolkata may take around 2.5-3 hours to reach here. Roads are good though. Can be reached by bike, car, bus etc. Government guest house as well as several hotels are available near to the river banks. There are ferris to cross the river just near right side of the junction. Best part of the place is that there are several concrete chairs installed just on the road side following the river. Sit there in the evening and enjoy fresh air.

Beautiful serene place, huge WBTDC property but not maintained at all. Rooms are very spacious, river view balcony. Staff are cordial, fairly good home cooked style food. If only they had maintained the property it would have given any 5 star hotel run for their money.

Nice place to stay in govt resort which u can book by Bengal tourism website. For double room they r charging 2900 INR. This just beside the river , view is awesome and place is peaceful.
