There are a lot of scattered pieces of history in our country older than the Mughal invasion and witnesses of a developing culture... this temple is a part of more temple complexes in and around the town of Pathari. These are almost forgotten pieces of history now just standing alone inside a gated complex. The temple is restored by the ASI and is good place for a off beat visit.

The large structure is impressive, so are the sculptures. After the ravages of many invasions, what is left behind is still impressive. Access to these sites have to be improved, if tourist are to visit.
