It's a huge building, featuring tall walls and high arches. The roof at the middle of the building is collapsed and the only structure that remains here is the arch. Gada Shah (Beggar King) is often thought to be the Rajput merchant-noble who lived in Mandu and flourished the trade of ivory, saffron and musk.
Gada Shah -gdaa shaah- was supplier of stores to the Sultanate. His 'shop' was in fact a large mall like storehouse of goods, residential buildings and so on. To call it a Dukan is funny indeed.
Not a typical shop, rather a big ancient mall. Large building in large campus, huge rooms, big arches.
Looking at the huge rooms, easy to guess that tons of grain and other grocery must have been stored and traded.
Good for 20-30 minutes stroll. Around this, in the same campus, there are 2 step wells worth have a look. The campus is maintained quite well, clean and green.
Not much facilities inside and around.
Nice serene place. Ruins but tells a lot about history. Can spend good hour seeing around
A part of the large historical monument I.e, the jahaj mahal, the vada shahs shop is a breathtaking sight when in monsoons, lush green and totally worth it!!!
If size is a factor, Gada Shah's shop is more than a shop. It could easily be classified as a medieval shopping mall.
Near Gada Shah's shop, there are two step-wells Andheri (Dark) Baoli and the other Ujaala (Light) Baoli. The former is an underground well infested by bats. The Ujaala baoli is an open step well in the middle of thick undergrowth.
Beautiful place & very clean,peaceful

Nestled in the heart of nature, these small naturally grooved caves hold a unique charm that's deeply rooted in history. These caves, although petite in size, offer a portal into the past, where ancient mysteries and secrets were once concealed. As y
