Gachbari Jaldapara Resort - Resort hotel in Madhya Madarihat - Alipurduar, India

The Resort is located within a forest village,the property is overpriced they are demanding Rs.1800/-for lodging which is not justified.The resort premises is full of shimul tree the watch tower which is situated within the resort area is good but the stairs are too steep you can get a view of Jaldapara and it's wilderness from this tower. The worst thing is the approach road . The food is good.Next time if I visit Jaldapara, definitely I will search for better one for staying.

Place is good but the service need real changes.

The resort is quite peaceful, although its not very well maintained, the rooms are decent enough, but the room services are very poor. Cost per night is 2200/- . There is a torsa river branch which flows very close to the resort...but I would recommend govt resorts anyday.... if you decide to visit the place, please make sure to clearly ask for the services needed and the charges prior to check-in.

The staff is very uncooperative. No support or information from staff regarding anything. The food is pathetic. The washrooms were dirty. No extra cushion or blanket provided. The resort is in nice location, but not properly maintained. Reaching to the resort is difficult.

Location is good but not excellent. All rooms are cottages located decently and organized. Rooms are quite large, toilet is good with working geysers. Clean rooms, bed sheets and blankets. Nice balcony. Well decorated lawn with maintained garden, with decorated evening lights. Provisions for campfire and barbeque chicken. Back side of the campus is the outskirts of the Jaldapara forest. In rare occasions frequented by lone elephants. Friendly and well behaved staff. However they have to work on the quality of cooking. Specially tea or coffee is pathetic. But barbeque was excellent. Ticket counter and starting point of Jaldapara safari is a 10 mins drive from the resort. Nevertheless, govt resorts are way better. Overall experience was not bad though.

Beautiful place.very peaceful,silent natural environment is the main feature of the resort,You can have delicious food there.The resort is adjacent to the Jalda para forest.You may have a look to elephants.There is a watch tower into the ground of the resort.The virgin beauty will make you happy.You can spend one night there.It Will give you enough opportunity to see wild animals.

Very nice ambiance and really cordial staff behaviour. Will just feel like staying on the lap of nature as it's boundary is adjacent to the jungle and great feel at night as it is a bit away from the congestion and crowd of the town...

It's awesome gd environment. Nice view in the evening.
