There's no other restaurant halfway decent on the whole stretch of the Asian Highway. The place is picturesque set on a hill and surrounded by beautiful hills all around. Food is okay, we found nasi goreng, Mir goreng and chilli chicken to be in the spicier side, it depends on your spice tolerance. The fried rice was good, not too spicy. Coffee was good. They didn't have any dessert items, they said they only had fruit salad for dessert. FYI they were closed between Christmas and New Year, better check before you take a long drive there.
Word can't express the Beauty of this place. I don't know how Heaven looks like but Iam so sure this place does not less than Heaven. It's the best Give of Nature to us. You can play with the Clouds. I left 1 star in my review because to improve the hospitality of the staff, really require more staffs and better more focus on the tourist satisfactory
There are 2 experiences, first is the road to the cafe, the straight n fast valley road giving way to the winding hilly road, but the views are breathtaking, all the way to the cafe. The roads are extremely good n newly paved, making it one of the enjoyable ride. 2nd is the cafe itself, parking is sufficient, but can be a little crowded on sundays n holidays, the views from the viewing pad of the cafe is amazing, food is decent. I espcially like the tea, being a tea lover. Good escape location from city life, highly recommended
This cafe is located in one of the most scenic places possible. The beauty around this cafe is breathtaking! The food is also good. The prices are slightly on higher side. This cafe is located aroynd 2 hours drive from Imphal. But is worth the drive! Visit this cafe, order anything and just enjoy the beauty around you!
A must to add on your to-do-list. The scenic beauty of the place makes your body and mind at peace, a melancholic feeling which really help you to get away from all the stress of life. You should definitely visit or even better if you stay overnight.
Amazing hospitality! The views and location is so spectacular. If you halt for the night, don't forget to try the signature chicken curry
The quality of accommodation, the breathtaking location, food and quality of service would earn 5 stars! The only reason why I am rating them 3 stars is because of the management. Here is why - I stayed here for a night on my way to Moreh with few friends and my kid son. The first experience was so good that I wanted to come back with my family. So after about a week of returning from the Moreh trip I called the management and booked both the cottages 2 days prior. I called the next day again to reconfirm and even ordered breakfast for the next day morning when we were supposed to reach Gaby's. Everything was all good so far. But then later around 8pm someone else from Gaby's called and said there was a miscommunication and both the cottages had already been booked by some other party!! Can you believe this? The next morning we started for Moreh (with temporary booking at Ellora Hotel @ Moreh town) and stopped by at Gaby's to check again. But same story...supposedly some other party had already booked before us! But great place to be. Just be careful during the reservation process. You don't want to get there and find out you don't have a place to stay! If not for the reservation experience I would have definitely rated them 5 stars.
A clean , relaxing place above the mountain tops on the way to Moreh. You can freshen up use the clean toilets while going or coming back. More of such cafes would surely make long distance travel in the hills of Manipur easier for the weary travellers.
