Mazedaar Misal at Majiwada Ok, for those who want a quick bite - for those who wish to try something from a tapri/thela or simply for old friends meeting together to chat about our days at Thane, this is a great place! The good Amazing misal (option of thikkat or medium) .. unlike other vatana misal, this is of sprouts and super yum tari with farsaan. We also had poha with and without tari and it tasted equally good. The surprise factor was the chai. Our US returned Desi manoos said that I don't drink chai but on having this non-milk, jaggery adrak wala chai , he had just one word to say -wow! Same here. The bad Well not too many options although the nearby thelas have Vada pav, sabudana Vada and stuff. No parking space for 4-wheelers. The ugly What would you expect at a place in the centre of majiwada junction - traffic, noise, pollution. Thankfully this is abit cut off from main road yet the noise pollution can't be avoided. Since it's a thela, entry sab ke liye hai so don't expect AC wala crowd. It was Mazza. It was great fresh food for the tummy.
Found this place through Google and read the reviews which was Great so planned to try this place... The Misal Pav of this Place is Awesome... I have also tried the Poha its good not that bad... They really did not Disappoint me at all... I liked it so much that had been to this place thrice already... Planning to visit again...!!! The downside is that it's a road side stall and that it's available from Morning 6 am to Afternoon 12 pm... But if taste is what matters to you then it's a Must Try...!!!
THE BEST MISAL PAAV I've had by far! I do understand it's a big claim but this place is worth the hype! I had their spicy misal paav and still my mouth watered after every bite not due to the spice but due to the taste. And don't forget to end it with a jaggery tea. I will be visiting time and again for sure!
Things to try: Chulivarcha Misal Pav, Tarri Poha Chulivarcha Misal has a nice smoky taste to and farsan that's topped with it is fresh and crispy and it is also garnished with onion and coriander. This one at Rs. 50 is a hidden gem at an economical price. Tarri Poha: I had just the Poha and salt was less and is the only reason I docked one star. If you have the Poha with the Tarri it tastes magical and elevates the taste of the Poha. This is located diagonally opposite the Tiranga Flag near Majiwada on a gadda stall and surrounding may not look eye catching but the taste of the misal does.
Was looking for good misal in neighbourhood & came across this gem right under the nose. I like it when the seller is selling with passion. It's a small setup on 4wheeled cart. You also get Tarri Poha which is ok. But best part is Misal-Pav & jaggery tea(without milk) to go with. Way better taste than Mamledar. Highly recommended.
This place is hidden gem for Missal lovers, travelled from bhiwandi to Thane specially for this place, n it was worth visiting this place agian n agian for the taste this Missal has.
