G Hotel Agra - Hotel in Agra - Agra, India

We had booked this hotel for our wedding's reception and it was somewhat the right decision in the price offered. The hall was spacious and pretty. The decoration was also according to what we had chosen. So, the function was nice. But we had also booked few rooms in the hotel for our guests and also for ourselves (the couple). So, there were two problems in it. 1) The staff at the reception was rude and had asked a marriage proof of us which I found very disrespectful as when we are already having the reception function in your hotel, what's the logic of asking about the marriage proof? In addition to this, they had asked id proof from every guest on their entry for whom we had pre-booked the rooms. This in my opinion is not a characteristic of good hotels. 2) The room quality was very poor. There were several issues like the jet was not working in the bathrooms, Air conditioners of several rooms were not working, guests had to keep changing rooms because of these issues, and to top it all, there was a lizard in the premium room booked for the wedding couple. So, all in all it was a very inconvenient stay for everyone.

The food at the restaurant is good and banquet is also good for small parties and functions. Though the place doesn't have very good vibes such that you feel elated after entering it. I found no issue with the staff but yes, they can be more proactive while serving the guests

Pros: Amazing interiors, majestic chandeliers, royal leather sofas, marble, granite floors, carpets great wooden doors, seems like a hotel befitting the place where Taj Mahal is. Spacious rooms Cons: Worst maintenance, not clean, not professionally kept, the bed smells, the toilet smells, rusty plumbing, polite, good but unprofessional staffing, broken lifts, all the above mentioned pros were dirty. In summary: some one had a great vision to build and design such an amazing hotel, but I guess did not realize that the staff and people had to run it like the envisioned. If you are a manager or owner or the visionary that designed this hotel. Great job sir/ma'am, please appoint good people and maintain it clean and professionally. One day I hope to return to Ur majestic but let it be a clean/professionally run hotel.

Amazing hotel for Marriages and parties. Suitable for business class and affordable!! Must try Food !

Newly and well built structures with good ambience and food. Rooms are big and well maintained. However, service is bit slow. Also, some rooms are without Windows which makes you fill claustrophobic.

Room size is big enough for 4 people to accommodate. Food is nice. Floor lobby is beautiful. Well maintained. And a glance of Taj Mahal made my day during the stay in this hotel. Service is very nice.

Ambience wise it is good, for small gathering of approx 100-150 people it is appropriate with indoor hall, as well as terrace. Food could have been better, hotel need to work on food taste. Rest everything is good.

Very Rude behavior of hotel Manager and mismanagement by receptionist. I booked 12 rooms in G-hotel for comfortable stay of families and had a terrible experience right from the start of check-in to check-out . During check-in hotel receptionist Shubham was not able to manage people and did lot of mistake and create chaos during check-in which leads to discomfort for my guest and for me. During the stay in the night one of room was locked by mistake leaving key and small children inside and no-one was there to help on the floor and as per hotel manage Mr. Ravi we need to reach out to ground floor to ask for help and put allegations of roaming on the floor in the night irrespective knowing the incident where he need to ask for apology for proving support. Speaking attitude of Mr. Ravi was very rude and he started to do verbal fight with all of us with out listening the other side and even after knowing that hotel was on faulty side in the incident. Instead of support he put allegation and try to threaten us along with inappropriate language. In my comparison a salesman of a shop speaks better than Mr. Ravi where I believe he holds relevant exp. and knowledge of this industry. During the checkout again there were chaos and all guests need to hold back for the keys where all were submitted already. It's a compete mismanagement in the hotel and owners need to look into this. Please avoid this hotel for a stay though food was good and restaurant staff was helpful.
