Futala Lake - Lake in Nagpur - Nagpur, India

I visited around 7.30 pm couldn't able to catch sunset view but i was expecting some better place, but no cleanliness was maintained there!! Not a good experience for me. But still got few good clicks.

It's getting really attractive. Earlier Futala was just a lake but now it has witnessed a lot of infrastructure development which was really needed for a long time. A few years ago it used to be open for all and it was free for everyone. Now only a side of the lake is kept free to visit and a big side is occupied by some restaurants. Now you have to buy a ticket to enter (Rs250 I think) and you can enjoy the fountain light show here with that. Of course it happens at night. The street looks so beautiful now. Yes, there's still some scope of improvement but eventually people will get used to cleanliness and this place will become a spotlight for tourists. Overall, Futala is a must visit place if you are in Nagpur. There are so many food outlets here. You can enjoy bhel, Chinese, panipuri, chai, coffee, momos, etc.

Futala Lake is a popular spot among people in Nagpur, especially in the evenings. You can witness some gorgeous sunsets here. There is a new Futala Fountain built at this spot. There were few shows organized in the past at this fountain but it is not yet open for regular daily shows. In the evening, there is some music and hawkers with some small food items. Overall, it is a nice place to visit if you live in Nagpur or visiting the city.

Completely renovated and the best part is the musical fountain show which is awesome.. Crowded on weekends.. contains a lot of eateries around it..Kids would love it

The transformation of this place was unexpected. It was one of the best decision taken for development of this place. Development is in progress. Best place to visit with family. Fountain shows will start soon. Fountain shows occassionally run on trial basis. [I visited on 15th of August 2023. Best experience to celebrate Independence day there.]
