Valparai hasn't become fully commercialized unlike Ooty or Kodaikanal. Due to this there are only a handful of restaurants in Valparai that serve good food. Friendz Cafe is one of them. So, there may be a long wait to get a table during the weekends and long holidays. This restaurant is part of the Krishna Inn Hotel. So, there won't be a name board for the restaurant. It's a compact multi-cuisine restaurant that serves scrumptious food. During my visit here I tried Parottas, Egg Kothu Parotta, chicken gravies, fried rice and chappathi. Service was quick during my visit for dinner on a weekday. During the weekend visit it was terribly crowded, so I opted for a takeaway. Service might be slow on a crowded day.
Not a recommendabl e but can be included. Food is not remarkable.

Restaurant is owned by Krishna Inn so you may not find friends cafe name board. Tried few places for food and among them it was the best place to have food with great quality, taste and ambience also was very nice though service takes little time. Both veg/non veg lovers can prefer this place for breakfast/dinner. Didn't try lunch.
