Freedom Cafe Gokarn - Cafe in Gokarna - Uttara Kannada, India

Worst ever experience. I and my cousins stayed for a night. The washrooms were not clean. The room we got was not clean. The floor was not swept, the fans were covered with spider webs, lizards in washroom. On top of that, the lady owner of the cafe has no sense of speaking. She just disrespects everyone. Such a bad spoken woman. Humiliates everyone with the over acting for no reason. She dint care of what people would think of her for such behavior. We were feeling ashamed of how a person can behave. It was rely like watching a underrated drama. We realized at the end that the show was just for grabbing money. She would not listen to anyone and would just behave like a women with no self respect. At the end we ended up paying 1500 extra for a night. I just hope god gives her some manners.

Please avoid this restaurant. Worst service. They provide starter at the end and Main course at first. Worst food. They take 2 hrs for food to prepare.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Freedom Cafe in Gokarna and I have to say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and made to feel right at home. The rooms at Freedom Cafe are cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. The location is also unbeatable, its on the cleanest beaches of Gokarna. But what really sets Freedom Cafe apart is the staff. The team went above and beyond to make my stay memorable, from providing insider tips on the best local spots to arranging transportation for me to explore the area. Let it be a solo traveller or a group or family this is the best suited property. The resort provides life jackets for safety, has bech volleyball, frisby and cool pets puppies to play with. Special thanks to pet doggo "Sundari" for keeping us entertained all day. And let's not forget about the food! The cafe's menu is diverse and delicious, with plenty of options for vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. I particularly enjoyed the fresh seafood dishes and homemade desserts. Overall, I would highly recommend Freedom Cafe to anyone visiting Gokarna. Whether you're looking for a relaxing getaway, wokation or an adventure-filled vacation, this place has it all. Before going to gokarna we tried to book rooms in this place .We called them at least 2 days straight just because this place was recommend to us by our friend we tried booking it .They did not pick the call ,by luck they pick the call once and we talked about our requirement for the room ,the lady owner told that she will give us the update after 10mins but after that she was lost we tried calling them again and even messaged them they did not answer . After reaching gokarna we had a visit and we order some food which was not worth eating the food was horrible plus it was not worth paying . Please do not go just because of the ambience the service was really low .

A pleasant stay with beach view, their hospitality was very good and they were very friendly.

Freedom cafe is located at a very sweet spot right in the middle of Gokarna's main beach.Ganesh and co. are the friendliest of hosts.Our weekend stay here was very pleasant. The food served is delectable. Highly recommend this place.

One of the few places by the beach where the food is great. Service is nice. A great place to vibe n chill by the beach. Food suggestions would be continental, they make that good. And the pizza was fantastic. The only downside is that the service is slow.

I was in Gokarna for almost a week and I stayed here for only 1 night. Everything was amazing. Specially the food. Do not miss out on Margarita pizza and they offer amazing mocktails as well. Homely feeling during the stay. The couple is really friendly. They also have a lot of cute puppies adopted. Loved the cheese balls also. Be aware of mosquitoes and lizards. Might need proper treatment for insects and reptiles.
