Fortune JP Palace, Mysore - Member ITC's hotel group - Hotel in Mysuru - Mysuru, India

The hotel is supposedly a 4 star hotel but it looks very old. Needs more maintenance. We arrived 1 hour late from the check-in time but still room was not ready. Food is good though. And the stay overall was nice. Service is good and one time other than the check-in part.

The Room and ambience is fine. Room AC has a feature to increase but it's did not work though their expert came and tried. It's done to 18 degrees also in the mid night...For kids it's more discomfort. And front desk need to improve. We gave key before proceeding to breakfast and told then to do checkout formalities but it's not done.all done when we came back and it's time taking process. Better to bring our luggage ourselves.

We recently visited Mysuru for the very first time with family and it was a worthwhile decision to have chosen Fortune JP Palace for our stay. The staff is really hospitable and courteous and made sure to take care of the smallest of our needs with 2 small kids. The restaurant was very well staffed and I remember Shubham who went above and beyond to make sure our breakfast and dinner experience is unforgettable. The Manager, Mr. Vinayak was so amiable and took really good care of the entire restaurant - The Orchid. I would 10/10 recommended this place for a good leisure holiday or even a work stay.

An average hotel not worth the tariff charged for the stay. The rooms are good and spacious, bed is super comfortable, but the cups provided for coffee were dirty. The crockery for the breakfast buffet had marks on it as well. Upon requesting for powdered coffee, was told it wasn't available! The service is slow and needed multiple follow ups to get iron board, extra blanket, etc. The staff insisted on full payment during check in (instead of during check out), which might be a standard with ITC but not the case with majority other hotels. Location is good but Mysore being a small place it's never a huge factor. In all a decent stay at par with any 3 star hotel but certainly not value for money.

Improvement Needed on Front Staff Section. There are no issues in the Rooms or amenities, but the way the front office staff treats the guests needs to be improved. It's not that they are rude, but not friendly. The payment was upfront at the time of check-in and that's it, no more assistance on where to go. The hotel is also situated in the heart of Mysore near Mysore Palace. Rooms were up to par. Breakfast was so rich with a variety of options.

I had come to this hotel with high expectations. But none of them where met. I had specifically asked for two rooms together, months before. Although this was not full filled. I had two children with me and this did not make it any easier. I came to the room and I was very disappointed. The bathroom and beds are very old fashioned. They have not been looked after. I would not recommend this at all for families.

Everything was perfectly organized, well trained staff, quick service, comfortable room spacious with all amenities, comfy bed, clean washrooms, Food was also Ok, breakfast spread is decent. Overall great experience

Its a decent hotel with good rooms, common swimming pool. Service is great but their buffet break fast is superb! You have more than 25 items and you will be lost which one to try.. Superb breakfast
