The History of Kakatiya Dynasty
The kakatiyas ruled this place for about more than 300 years. It was one of the largest kingdoms during 12th century AD. Ganapatideva, Rudrama devi, Prataparudra were few great kings of Kakatiya dynasty. The first woman emperor was Rudramadevi in medieval Indian history. They constructed many temples and tanks in different places. Ramappa Temple was selected as world heritage monument which was constructed by them.
