If your visiting Gulbarga, you shouldn't miss the Fort. Both the mosque and the fort remains are stunning and it's amazing that they have lasted so long. Wish that there was information provided about the place or an audio guide. Don't miss out on the herd of buffaloes immersed in the waters outside the fort walls Neglected and pathatic tourist spot it is fort with some discarded canons onbourd kind of divided in two parts one section having a neglected canon , no notification on site about the fort, canon, built by , etc , no guides on site to make a quick buck , also the architecture does not have any notable style , the other section is walkable and has a masjid attached a covered and pillared flat structure with no notable carvings , usual graffities nargis loves salim , ahmed loves salma etc , no food stall no facilities no notifications no washroom no nothing
This GULBARGA FORT is capital of bahamai empire between 1347 to 1474 AD ,build by raja GULCHAND. Not maintained Properly. You can observe the damage happened
