Fort Maidan, also known as Kota Maidanam, is a multi-use stadium in Palakkad, India. It is currently used mostly for cricket matches. The Fort Maidan holds a maximum capacity of 10,000 peoples at a time.
Its a great way to enjoy your time also they have a massive ground where we can see the future indian players playing there, they have an open gym as well as a basketball court... The players can enjoy there and the view is also amazing....
As compare to round of trissur it is small in size. But for palakkad its the heart of the town take shape of a rounded one. It has a cricket pitch where ranji trophy played. And local boys, net practice is done here. On the right side there is a open gym by GoK where public can use the gym at morning and eveng. On the right side a basket ball court also available. Opposit stands A historical site of tipu fort with butterfly shape under ASI. Robinson English church, civil station, district hospital, muncipal office, IMA hall these all surround in this fort maidan....
