Forsyth Lodge - Satpura National Park - Resort hotel in Sohagpur, Bija Kheri - Hoshangabad, India

An absolutely stunning experience at this resort. Three of us did an over nighter and were beyond amazed at this property. The staff, the service, the room, the amenities in the lodge - that's money well spent. A very tastefully done up resort. It's a place to experience luxury at a very affordable and reasonable price. The team under Mohamed-the naturalist, is a wonderful team. And hats off to the chef .... talk about food, brilliant. We're glad we stayed at this place and we will visit again.

Fabulous place. The staff are polite, smiling, helpful. Our Naturalist Mr Mohammed Ghouse was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic. The food was excellent. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, follow a traditional architecture and are beautifully designed. The safaris were most enjoyable. This is an outstanding resort

Thank you for amazing hospitality. Be it food (thanks to chef), be it rooms( thanks to housekeeping staff), be it explaining about plants and animals (thanks to faiz, ghous, Sanal and especially sweet amina) everything was perfect. Our experience almost jumped to hundreds after sighting 2 tigers..

My stay at Forsyth Lodge was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the heart of nature, the lodge offered a serene escape from the bustling city life. One of the best properties I have been to in India. Their level of service is just unparalleled. They give so much attention to detail like I have never seen. The manager asked us about our safari timings and they always had our breakfast/supper basket ready to have in between safaris. The food quality was just too good and every small thing we asked we always got a positive response. One night it started raining at 11 and I saw a housekeeping staff running around to place umbrellas outside our cottages in case we plan to move outside for a walk. Never seen such a wonderful service anywhere in India. The naturalist was a gem and helped us know a lot about the flora and fauna. We had booked 4 safaris online but still did one with him in which spotted a Dhol, Asian Paradise flycatcher nest, Asian Palm Civet. Even though booking directly was much cheaper and had good sightings of 3 Tiger, Sloth bear. Satpura Forest Range in itself is amazing and Forsyth proved to be a cherry on the cake. Will surely come back soon.

It's a wonderful jungle resort spreader in 44 acres out of which 4 acres are used for resort and balance for nature. They have 12 cottages and excellent hospitality.worth staying

Horrifying experience -- we visited the property in april this year.I asked booking agent Mr Mrinmoy biswas atleast 3-4 times about security and safety he told me that this is peak season and even in weekend resort get fully occupied. But when we reached the FORSYTH LODGE it was completle vacent and we were the only couple in that property. Due to bad weather there was no mobile connectivity. So my concern was only about safety of my wife and my 2 year old child. Imagine you got stuck in a rainy dark night jungle with 20 unknown people and no connection with outer world. The booking agent must have clarify this to us prior to booking that on these dates the resort is completly empty and you are the only guest so that i wolud have resheduled my trip. Also there were no cctv cameras in the entire premices. Over all staff was good and cooperative in nature but there was no female only male staff. FOOD was mouthwatering and very tasty but lodge rates are too high which does not make sence. I would suggest if anyone want to visit this property come atleast in group of 8 -10 people never ever come single or as a couple.

My time here has been beautiful beyond measure. A wonderfully designed place, with a brilliant touch of art and wildlife. Makes for a serene getaway amidst wilderness. The staff here is so hospitable, they make the guests feel at home. From the way they receive, speak with warmth and that lip smacking food with lots of varieties, is just so good. The safari experience with them, is a class apart. Because a naturalist will accompany. They know the forests and wildlife very well, so the stories and information they give, truly enriches the whole experience. If you are looking for a fulfilling holiday, Forsyth Lodge is where you should be!
