Forest Hills at Tala - Hotel in Tala, Rahatad - Raigad, India

Recently we visited this place, our room was camel hump. The property is beautiful and close to nature. It's clean and hygiene is maintained. Service is good. Food is bit expensive but quality and taste is good. The only drawback here is, I found this property good for couples. If you are planning your trip with kids they will eventually get bored coz there's nothing for kids apart from swimming pool. There are bored games. We visited during rainy season so we had to remain indoors most of the time coz of fear of insects mosquitoes etc. so plan your trip wisely.

We went with a group of friends and thoroughly regretted the decision. Its not worth half the tariff they charge.Rooms are average. No activities without paying extra which anyway weren't available. Surroundings are pathetic. No other way to commute within the property without a vehicle. Completely unkept place suffers service and infra .Well meaning staff. Food was a little above average. Do not go by paid reviews. Will not recommend anyone to visit this place.

Since property is located amidst the forest area, more attention to cleanliness is required for the rooms - specially the Premium tent property. Good time for unwinding, but don't expect a lot of activities unless you are going with your own group.

Its not a value for money or a value for service place. The service is poor and so are the quality standards. The experience started with getting a different room than what I paid for. Apparently they decided to give our room to another family because the other family seemed to like our room and refused to vacate it . The quality of the room we got was not at all worth the money i paid. The place was supposed to be quiet and serene but it was the opposite. All 3 days there was a corporate event that had loud music games and lots of people. The food was average and very few options. Again not worth the money. Finally we are still waiting fir the invoice they promised to send by email in 1 day. Its about 7 days since we checked out...

Paradise just few hours away from Mumbai, absolutely loved my room marigold hermitage which has a jacuzzi and bathtub. Lovely food and amazing forest vibes. Highly recommend this place for a calm, fun trip with friends and family.

It's a best place for visiting ...... Location is awesome and the rooms are too good and hygienic......food quality is too good with normal rates.... My overall experience was fantastic......

Let me start by saying it was a terrible holiday. I stayed here with my husband for two nights and it felt like we were in a social experiment. They had only three songs that they played on loop throughout those three days we were there. There were mice in the room and we raised multiple complaints and requested for a room change but the Tala adminstration did nothing. The property was run down and the food was absolutely terrible. Also to mention this place is NOT for couples. It is for families and couples with small kids. If you're looking for peace and quiet, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO BOOK. If you're looking for an overall good relaxing stay, DO NOT EVEN LOOK IN THIS DIRECTION. Strongly, strongly do NOT recommend. It is not worth the money and is an absolutely rundown place.

This resort is epitome of luxury. Huge huge resort spanned across 100+ actress on 2 hills. One get so much privacy as the number of villas are relatively less compared to grand space they have. The villas are super luxury which make the stay absolutely comfortable. Restaurant is great too with great taste which serves continental food, Chinese and Indian cuisines. Complimentary Breakfast served has more than 10+ dishes. Importantly, it has great hill views, sunset view, swimming pool, DJ nights. Great place to have a luxury vacation to relax.
