Food - 4/5 Rooms - 1/5 Service - 1/5 Location - 2/5 We didn't like the fact that there was lack of transparency in communication. I'd made an advance payment of 3,000 INR to the hotel initially. I had to cancel my booking twice due to personal reasons the hotel was not ready to refund my advance. They told me that my payment will be carry forwarded and can be used to make the booking later. I planned the 3rd time and this time no one was picking up my calls. So I called the owner, I was told that the booking was cancelled as it was cancelled twice by me and the advance would not be refunded. (The owners tone was pretty argumentative at this point) I had to really convince hard to get my booking. I got the booking finally but now the per person cost was increased from 2700 to 3000. When I asked why the increase owner said it's because of November price hike. But while checking out the manager told us that we were charged extra because we cancelled twice. So this was a major inconvenience for us. Owner hasn't replied to us since we got this to their notice. *REPLY TO OWNERS RUDE/SARCASTIC COMMENT* 1 - The cancellation happened on Friday morning both the times, while we were coming on Saturday. So it was well before time. 2 - And every hotel postpones it's booking multiple times once advance is taken. 3 - Also about my expectation of reply of WhatsApp message. My WhatsApp message was ignored and because my review is publicly seen. The review was given a quick reply to. 4 - Your hotel is managed by people from the village and are smart enough to settle bills. I know they would be smart enough to handle revenue based situations too. 5 - The owner tells that me posting the negative review online is 'poor behavior' at my end. 6 - Also please note the owner is quite rude and argumentative.

We enjoyed staying at the Forest Falls Resort early this month. It is an awesome place for a family weekend, which is close to Mumbai.. We loved this property which had lots of trees n the greenery is eye catching. The Rooms and the property are well maintained and the owners are very warming. They serve delicious homely cooked food both veg and non-veg. It was an amazing experience to refresh in the nature.

Loved our stay at forest falls. We had a small family get together and it was super fun. Clean rooms and washrooms. Private space in front of every room. The best part of the trip was the yummylicious homely food. Overall experience was amazing . If you want to stay close to nature away from the pollution and have a detox weekend-this place is for you.

Where do I even begin, will highlight the key issues in points below. 1 - We were a group of 12, (6 males, 4 females, 2 kids). For a group of 12 in total were put in two different shabby rooms at two different sides of the farm for some odd reason. One room apparently had an air conditioner which wasn't working at all, have a different point altogether on the electricity issue. However, when we requested for adjacent rooms, we were told to enjoy the wilderness and not worry about rooms (Apparently, there was a booking error made by the owner) and the adjacent room was given to a group of bachelors. They too had complained about not giving them a room adjacent to family with kid's coz they were planning to party whole night playing loud music. This was bought to our attention when told them to stop the music at 2am in the night as the kids were unable to sleep. The bachelor group was decent enough to understand our ordeal and shut the music after giving an earful to the manager in charge of night shift. Both the groups had a poor experience for different reasons which they had highlighted during check-in. 2 - It's the month of October, hot and humid across Maharashtra. There were frequent power cuts and power back non-existent. ACs weren't working, fans were barely moving at their lowest speed. When we complained, we got the same response from the manager "Enjoy the wilderness" but were told that things would be fine in the night, which of course didn't happen. The loud music, extreme heat, arguments with the resort staff post mid night ensured no one from the two groups got good sleep. The owner of the farm was present in the property but didn't even bother to even come to talk to the customers in distress but was shameless enough to tender an apology in the morning while having breakfast. (But "Enjoy the wilderness" anyways). 3 - Rooms were shabby and partition between two dormitories wasn't secured properly. The door could not be latched, we had to secure it by moving a vacant bed against it. This leads to safety risks especially for women when there is a group of bachelors in the adjacent room who are extremely drunk and roaming outside in the common area only wearing their underwear and playing vulgar songs on high volume post mid-night. To their credit, they didn't pass any indecent comment or made any gestures towards our group. However, this might not be the case always when alcohol takes control. Apparently, there is no restrictions in the resort on playing music beyond certain hours, this is not something they feel is important to inform folks who visit their property with their families or taken into consideration while allocating rooms (But "Enjoy the wilderness" anyways). 4 - Water running through the taps was muddy, so we couldn't take bath in the morning, we all just washed our face and brush using mineral water. This was after a sweaty sleepless night due to humidity and fans/AC not working due to electricity issues. (But "Enjoy the wilderness" anyways). I could continue with my rant of the awful experience, but what I have highlighted above should be enough for people to make an informed decision. Honestly, this has been one of my worst experiences to date. Please don't let the pictures deceive you, ask questions about power back up and music restrictions if you wish to visit the place. The owner doesn't care (But "Enjoy the wilderness" anyways).

The resort was absolutely amazing. I am giving it a 5* because overall the experience was very good. Rooms - they have big rooms to easily accommodate 6-8 persons in a single room. Washrooms are separate. Rooms are very clean and AC is very effective. Even the bedsheets and pillows were neat. We had a nice swing and a sitting area outside the rooms. Drinking water was also provided outside the rooms. Food- it was absolutely delicious. I would go here again just to have their food. Simple but very delicious food. They will provide food as per your preference. We had vegetarian food and every meal was up to the mark. The baingan bharta and bhendi masala had to be given a shout out. Many maharashtrian items were prepared and for dinner variations like pav bhaji, pasta etc. was made on request. Quantity was less sometimes but they always made sure everyone were well fed. The kitchen was open and looked very neat and hygienic. Staff - Everyone including the kitchen staff were very helpful and polite. All are needs were immediately taken care of. Recreational activities - They have Badminton, table tennis, carrom, cricket equipments and lots of open space for other activities. There is a small temple also. Pet friendly. Location - you can reach via road or train. But the approach road from Vangani market to the resort is very bad. Our car almost got stuck as it rained the previous night and the road was katcha. But thankfully there were other approach roads nearby. But the roads are all kaccha and narrow. Overall rating - it's worth spending your time and money in this place. Come in a group or alone. It's cooler than the city and less polluted. Very less noise pollution too. Calm and serene with a lot of plantations. You can also visit the nearby reservoir (dam) and boating on availability. Check with the staff a day prior.

This is my second time, I celebrate my sons birthday at Forest Falls, the response of my family is always OMG what a place, celebrating your most special persons birthday in the middle of nature was surreal specially when the owner and staff goes extra mile to make your stay memorable, the rooms are super clean and hygienic, food is yummy - homemade, service is excellent and the staff is so polite and humble always ready to support. I am in love with Forest Falls hospitality at it best. Most importantly the smile on my sons face during the whole stay, which was only possible because of Forest falls. Thank you much will surely visit again soon

Amazing place for a family gateway. It is very accessible from Vangani station as it is just a five minute drive from there. Rooms were very clean and spacious. The best part was that they had installed Bluetooth speakers outside every room. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was very tasty. The staff was extremely helpful. The property is surrounded by a lot of greenery which is extremely beautiful.
