Best choice for a quick breakfast. Really good food. Quick service(self). There are quite a few tables but mostly you may have to stand and enjoy the food.Price is also reasonable and place is good as well. Very good authentic taste, Tried Masala shavige bath and Mangalore bajji . Both were tasty. Wheat paysam was good too. Tried gojjvalakki (huli avalakki) it was okay.
I have been to foodbox kitchen since the beginning. The whole point was to be pocket friendly, but know they have hiked the food taste is also average. Would recommend other restaurants at this price point. Also don't get confused between 'foodbox' and 'foodbox kitchen'.
Today morning had been to Saraswathi puram branch for breakfast, ordered idly sambhar,the vegetables ie.onion,and mangalore cucumber were not boiled,it was like eating a raw. Complained to the counter guy,he told it comes from centralised kitchen and cooks are new (mean no permanent ones). Quality is going down,no taste checks after preparation. Need more of responsibilities towards customer care.
We visited here at around 10 in the night.Food was good and staff was courteous.Wash room and the back yard needs to be kept clean .There were litter every where at the back side with foul smell.Seating arrangement is very cosy.We ordered Akkirotti and Green peas pulao both were good.
