This place a gem! It is quiet, well maintained palace and the museum offers a very homely feeling whilst making us travel through history about the palace. One has to get into the University premises to visit the museum. Once reached, it gives a feeling of an abandoned palace but later one realizes that everything is kept inside. It will take around an hour to see everything in the museum. Totally advised to visit the place and try to understand how and where the royals lived!

There are two other museums within the Jayamahal Palace - an archeology museum and a mansion artefacts museum. All these museums give a sneak peak into the palace interiors.

There are three different sections within this building out of which one is folklore museum. No entry tickets needed it's free to visit just enter in and out time and few details. You will have to submit your mobile phones to the incharge as it's not allowed inside the museum.
