My first ever long trip to North East - that too enabling local, sustainable tourism was all thanks to Folka!! Honestly did not know what to expect as it was my first ever trip with other unknown women! Folka took care of every aspect- stay, travel, food- we did not have any hassle and they made sure of every one of our comfort. The actual experience was beyond the expectations ... to the point I took their help for my 2nd trip with family. Looking forward to more such trips with Folka and the team. Keep it up guys the amazing experience you give to all!!

Team FOLKA is just amazing! We spent 8 days with them at Himachal and everyday had something new and special. They cherry-picked excellent stays for us throughout the trip. They were always willing to accomodate all our requests and modify the plans as and when needed. A special kudos to our guide Vishnu for motivating us to hike around 12 kms to Kheerganga, though the mission sounded impossible at first. Thank you Mithun and Greema for treating us like family. The glimpse of life we got to experience at Himachal will always be close to heart!

Hello everyone i am saliha, travel and tourism lecturer at an esteemed institution.We have taken a delhi to delhi manali trip package from FOLKA HOLIDAYS for 4days and 3nights including delhi to delhi transportation.Am writing this on behalf of the worst experience with FOLKA HOLIDAYS . The whole group consist of 24 adults and 2 kids and one of the kid is hardly 1 year. On the first day itself after boarding from delhi soon after the onset of the journey admits of the sleeping hours the bus was stopped by the hariyana motor vehicle enforcement wing. the whole passengers were made to evacuate the bus as the vehicle wasnt fit for running and there was tax debt on the vehicle . As we malayalis were the majority amongst the travellers we protested against the whole drama and took our firm and stayed inside the bus itself for around 2 hours. Then somehow we managed to reach manali and the whole schedule was out of order. The next two days were smooth other than the unexpected weather conditions . On the 3rd day we planned to move to another property as we were forced to drop our Kasol schedule due to adverse weather conditions . On the 3rd as per our schedule we wer supposed to go to kulu and engage in adventure sport activities .But then they didnt allow us the traveller bus and gave same reasons regarding the snowing nd all .whole group was made to ready to leave by 8am and only because they didnt gave the traveller we wer made to leav by 2:30pm. They didnt took my co travellers to destinations as per the plan and on top of that they left us with no choice other than moving to another property nearby with poor facilities and service . At the time of checkout. We came to know that the advance payment which was supposed to be done prior wasn't done that time and the hotel staff hold us there .and they didnt even bother to respond to the situation . Then we left to delhi where the tickets wer arranged by FOLKA and we thrown out the bus at chandigarh at 2:30 am . Along with luggages and babies. They didnt bother to respond to the situation and didnt atleast cared about attending the calls.The whole group were made to take auto from there admist of the night to sector 17 to board bus to delhi. We took tickets for the whole group again spenting over 17 k which was promised by FOLKA HOLIDAYS to be refunded as we reach DELHI AND till now there isn't a news regarding that. Then again the whole situation was worsen as we wer informed that the bus payment was done prioly bt then we came to knw that wasnt the real situation after talking with the bus driver. Haa this is the worst experience i had with any of the travelling group so far. Being a travel and tourism lecturer and my self conducting such trips since 5 years i havent seen any of this irresponsible and careless organisers in my experience . Rather than building up a name make sure your services fit your prestige.This is purely coward actions and dishonesty from such esteemed travel organisers. This is literally looting people in daylight To the whole people who might be reading this make sure that u find better coordinators than this scammers. Thank god as our team was very co operative and understanding they came to know about the situation and Kept evrything intact.Make sure that ua money is spent for the worthy Never ever fell for this false acts and exploitation of such NAMELY ESTEEMED travel co ordinators . Am sure that i wasn't the first who fell for their scams and false play but i ll make sure that i ll be the last victim.

This was the first time I had travelled with a random group of women.Thank you Team Folka for all the preparation you guys did to make our trip so successful. We all really appreciated it. Meghalaya.. A journey worth a mention!!! In this materialistic world, it is indeed necessary for a person to break free every now & then, enjoy mother nature to stay fresh & get our inner strength back.The travel was organised well and the entire trip was memorable.Food was arranged very nicely, We were not having any problem in getting Veg or Non veg food. Hotel accomadation was good in all the places.Enough time was given in all the places to enjoy the beauty. Team folka also takes care of Minimises negative environmental, social and economic impacts Generates greater economic benefits for local people and enhances the well-being of host communities, improves working conditions and access to the industry.

Folka, I'm jishnu who took your Delhi to Delhi manali package. it's better for u to stop this package system. If u people can't even take care of the passengers brought by u and can't even behave responsively. We have struggled a lot from the first day of the trip by throwing us out of the bus by police because of some tax issues to the last day of leaving 24 of us at midnight in Chandigarh. The trip was like Delhi to Delhi and not til Chandigarh. The worst experience ever had.

I have chosen the first trip with Folka holidays to manali with my family, we really loved the service and i wanna say a special thanks to Mr. Mithun who was taken care the whole trip. They were very proffesional, very responsive and very affordable as well. They were even very much concerned about my parents as well. Over all we loved the experience and journey with Folka holidays. Waiting for many more
