Flurys cake shop - Cafe in North Dumdum - 24 Paraganas North, India

The receptionist or server whoever she was did not informed my mum about paying the bill separately on two Qt codes. This was a harassment and we were about to loose our flight. The first transaction was of 300/- for which we got the product we ordered but the second transaction of 525/- for which I did not got our product. The manager was very disrespectful towards my mum and so was the server/cashier. Now I am down by 525 bucks but got no product. I am anticipating strict actions and a promiseof refund from your end. I always buy stuffs from flurys but this behaviour was a never before experience.

Cappuccino was good. Choco cube was really tasty. Nice experience as usual

Do not order the pancakes, they are fat, dry, undercooked and thoroughly unappetising. Three egg omelette was good, but did not come with all the accompaniments mentioned in the menu, and not compensated either. We found hair in our food. Overall, only 2 stars out of 5.

Ordered Plain Cucumber & tomato sandwich which looked a bit pricey at Rs400 and Veg Espanada which was weird in taste.

I had some small eats in this airport cafe with kiosk. The seating area is moderately maintained with some sofa and chairs. I ordered an omlette with mushrooms. Had a hot chocolate and a pineapple pastry. Price is premium, probably because of the traditional brand value. Service is not very efficient. But they do the job smilingly. Seems a bit casual. The omelette was totally bland. 3 eggs. 238 rs. Additional mushroom was 47 rs. Hot choc was okayish. Large quantity. 238 rs. The pastry was typical calcutta style. Loved it. 133 rs. Brought back memories. Needs some improvement. They do have almost all the items available in their city stores, which is surprising. But finesse is lacking. Service is ordinary. Has to be more professional and trained

I wanted to order premium pastries so thought of buying them from Flury's. Worst decision ever. I ordered 4 Choco Cubes worth Rs.140/- each. But sorry to say they don't deserve to be priced even at Rs.40/-. The cream used was of very poor quality. Should have ordered Black Forest pastry from Mio Amore instead. It would have costed me Rs.45/- each. Can't believe I spent more than thrice the amount for such a bad product.

I ordered a Chicken Empanada while waiting there, did not even finish it as I had to leave in a hurry. 15 20 mins later i started having stomach ache and infection. Will never eat here again and recommend others to skip this outlet.

Furry is very good option at the aiport to sit and have hot chocolate and also buy dark chocolates. They also have sugar free chocolates available. Really good place to chill while waiting at airport. Will try again whenever I visit this airport again.
