Worst house boats with no facilities. The rooms were not clean and lacked basic facilities like proper clean blankets, heaters, kettles, etc. The staff was very rude and was not at all helping. The breakfast served was not good.Overall it was a waste of money and would not recommend anyone to stay in house boat.They are charging extra money and in winters it's very cold and without heating blankets or kettles it's very difficult to sleep comfortably.

Very disappointing. No Tv , no tea maker, no heating blankets , no room heaters ,and the staff itself are rude. It's November and the room is chilling ,when I told them to provide me electric blankets ,they declined me on my face rudely. The room itself is from the 60s view, very old and dissapointing. Don't ever book this houseboat and ruin your Kashmir plans. Beware.

Great view, service was good, owner was also supported. However tourists were harassed by the locals. And always says apni khushi se paise dedo and then asking for more money.

It's an exclusive heritage Property of Ajanta Group.. Costly one, but worthysome...Room r great, but couldn't use any own electric appliances like water heater kettel, room heater etc. But they would arrange warm water for drinking if required . No room heater, but they have provided heated water container that keep our blankets warm through out night. Normal or Luke warm water will be available after 7 am, that's make difficulties in night..tap water is okay type. Services, room assistant, chef were very courteous, helpful . Food was also great . Very cold night felf as it is in between #Dal lake. Surrounding, garden were very beautiful. Nevertheless It's safe for family and kid if u r accompanied. Suggest to stay...lovely boat house

Decent Place, Decent hospitality. Giving 1 star rating because there isn't a proper heating system. The electric beds meant for heating don't work and the hotel doesn't make alternate arrangement. The frequent power cuts don't help. We literally had to sleep at -2 degree Celsius with just a blanket. It was a bad experience

The experience with Mohammad Hanan's houseboat was utterly disappointing. Based on his suggestion we decided not to cancel the booking but travel via Mughal road, despite ram-ban being an easier and more convenient route. From the beginning of the booking till our arrival he didn't even bother to check once on our status of arrival. Upon driving 16 hours through one of the most inconvenient /deadly roads (which was his suggestion), he did not even bother to pick up our call. He needs to understand that his guests need to be treated with respect and the rule one of the service / hospitality industry is to care for the convenience of the customers. After reaching dal lake , we tried calling him 16-17 times & he did not even bother to pick up our call and left us stranded in the middle of dal lake with no accommodation late at night. If you are thinking to book his place think a 1000 times because it is not worth it at all. I hope he improve his services in the near future.

I would not recommend anyone to book this houseboat spoil your kashmir plans. The houseboat which I booked was Floating Heritage Group of Houseboats but stay I got in Honolulu group of houseboats which is only a budget property. Paid higher for this houseboat and they given us a budget property. There were no TV in the room, all houseboat is very average in looks too. Owner is also not seems to be good. The only thing Good was the staff members of Honolulu Group of Houseboats. They tried everything to arrange for us make a comfortable stay but their houseboats itself have so many challenges which was not in their hands. Only Staff members deserve star not the owner who makes us fool in night hours to give budget property in higher price. Also in the brochure itself it was mentioned that room is hill facing but nothing like that, you can understand from this thing also. Food is also average.

Would not recommend anyone to stay here and make a futile investment! We booked an entire houseboat with meal plans and we were assured by the owner that both veg and non veg food will be served but instead of that we were provided pure veg food that too without onion and garlic just because their other guests were Jains. Owner's brother in the absence of the owner was very impolite and rude. Rooms and bathrooms were OK.There were no toiletries in the washroom and We faced difficulty in calling the attendant as he was the only guy to look after all the houseboats. Qadir bhai the shikara crossing person was very polite and helpful. He rode us to the ghat at 4:30 in the morning as we had an early flight.
