Truly the best place to stay at Srinagar. Nigeen lake itself is very beautiful yet peaceful. The boat is beautifully maintained. The warmth and care provided by host Mustaq bhai and the caretaker Gulzar bhai had really made us feel at home. Looking forward to seeing you soon!

Rooms were very well maintained. Homemade food was served and it was delicious, especially mutton Rogan josh. Transport to tourist spots was all arranged by them and they did take good care of us. Mushtaq bhai keep up the good work and will be happy to come again.

Not the "best" houseboat! Please do your research before booking any houseboat. This one is near nigeen lake which is dirty. Locals from there will claim that nigeen lake is prettier and clean than Dal lake. False claim! There is one caretaker who takes care of everything. He is friendly and very helpful. One thing which I felt was 'being restricted to one place'. When you are inside the boat, it is the only thing where you can roam around. You will have to take shikara/boat to go anywhere and they charge you exorbitant price, no fixed price. People here keep asking for tip which is another thing I didn't like. They just want to grab your money for every service. Price of the hotel is expensive and they will charge you for the water as well. Pathetic! One thing for me for sure - no houseboats for future stay. Hotels are way better, safe and convenient.

Absolutely beautiful Houseboat. We were a group of 4 families, 8 adults and 6 children. We were unable to secure 4 rooms for all online, upon contacting Mushtaq directly, he arranged it so that our whole group was accomodated in one single houseboat. He also helped us in arranging our transportation. We spent just one night on Floating Heaven, which felt insufficient. It was such a beautiful experience, We would definitely come again for a longer stay. The in-house staff too was very helpful and accomodating.

This place is highly recommended- 1. It is located on the Nigeen lake facing the beautiful mountain ranges 2. The rooms are lovely, cozy and clean 3. The food served is yumm 4. The person managing the house is courteous and helped us in every way he could.

I booked this houseboat of lot of survey online, tour agents were given the houseboats which were not very good then I booked myself directly contacting owner and I got in very good rate also. Surprisingly houseboat maintained very nicely. Very cleaned and arranged all things properly. Clean bathroom, room size very spacious. Double and single bed with sofa in room. Food quality was very tasty. Specially owners are very much caring and paying attention to customers. Very silent and beautiful location, don't go to stay in Dal lake. Dal lake is good for Shikara ride only to see floating market but Nigeen Lake specially Floating Heaven Houseboat is very much preferred, good for family. I liked too much and we enjoyed here.

One of the best houseboats in Nageen lake. Try to book house boats in Nangeen lake rather than that over-hyped Dal lake side. You will find peace . All the staff were so good.Rooms were so good , well maintained . I have zero complaints .
