Beautiful and ultimate place. During summer you may walk down the dry lake and very close to the flamingos. In case of problems walking long distance in the dry lake bed . Park your vehicle by the DPS road and have a clear and close view from your car. Flamingos land is flocks. You may see several flocks landing and flying through the days. Birds number is countless
Flamingo watch point is next DPS school. The best time to go there for wonderful sighting is morning or evening. Expect moderate to heavy traffic near the point on weekends as lot of vehicles are parked on the service roads on either sides leading towards the point.
The best place to spot Flamingo's. The best is to watch the Flamingo Courtship dance, also known as Marching. You can go early in the morning, as it might become very hot in the afternoon and there is no shelter. Carry plenty of water and a cap Carry a binocular if possible, tripod might come in handy if you shoot videos.
