Flame of the Forest - Resort hotel in Punjapura, Kolughatta - Dewas, India

Attended a destination wedding, the location is perfect for a small scale private party especially in winters. Lakeside view is awesome. Pool arrangement is also quite good. The only flaw is the way to reach here is tough due to hilly terrain and practically no drivable road to the location (2km worst patch), from the main road. If u wanna get here better get an SUV. U can even spot some wild animals if u r lucky, near the water body. Overall, near to the city - into the woods.

The Resort is over rated! The Location is beautiful but the service n amenities are not enough as compared to the price! On the name of extra mattress they are providing the sheets against the charges!

Good natural place.. But resort idea is good,but no maintenance. Staff doesn't know about resort..I think they are here for daily basis. Food is good. Rooms are like dharamshala.. Toilet is dirty. Punjapura to resort there is no road. So we careful if you do not have thar. This will be your adventurous trip if you go by a car. Thank you... All the best for your life.

I have been here twice but this time it was a pathetic experience. We booked a nature safari for the night. At 7.00am they were looking to fix the headlights. Then we drove to nearest village to get the break oil, then we drove to other side of the village to fuel. It was allready 9pm. After all this we decided to cancel and come back. The music system has but it doesn't work. Swimming pool is not clean. We ordered full chicken by paying extra for dinner. We finished half in dinner and we asked to keep the half in fridge so that we can eat tomorrow. Next day the manager (Rajkumar) says there was nothing left. The Manager (Rajkumar) is very rude and talks like he is giving everything free of cost to customers. I gave all the feedback to him while leaving but he was not concerned at all. It's very nice property and I like it very much but rude behaviour with tourists can spoil its beauty and tourist will have no option to go for another resort during next trip.

Pretty average considering the price. Good natural views and boating was quite a fun. But the food was really bad.

Five kilometre approach road is risky with bolders you need a suv break fast lunch and dinner quiet good need to improve high tea .need to improve rooms and toiletries and that all

Overpriced and in-competent staff! The location was nice but the last 4-5 km there is no road (it's doable in dry weather but may be an issue in rainy season). The property and the amenities (activities and Swiming pool) are not that well maintained but the rooms are spacious and clean. The food tasted alright but they charged extra Rs.300/ meal extra for non-veg in which they provided single curry based dish that too insufficient (we ordered chicken for 4 of us in which they provided just one chicken), Rs. 1200 for one chicken!!! Your money is better off in some 5 star. Don't opt For this option! At last the staff was slow, did not get any thing in one go, and they added numerous items in our final bill which we dint ordered (Later rectified but, after quite a bit of argument) which reflects staff incompetence. Overall the experience was ok but when you are spending Rs. 4100 pp or Rs. 8200/ room ( including non-veg option) (all other ordered items cost extra) you simply expect much better.

Flame of the forest is a resort surrounded by nature. But nature is missing and only dirt and Rock can be seen in summers. Basic amenities were missing in the rooms. Their lake was not maintained properly, the swimming pool is not functioning, their play room and area is abandoned. Food is not fresh and serves the same food. Their property is big but not maintained at all. You may find nature and peace here.
