the stay in this hotel was very good. comfortable stay for family, business people for a longer duration. earlier there was water problem. Now the water problem is solved. Now they are providing corporation water supply. Room service boys are good ad obedient. Value for money compared to other hotels charges by provision of intercom, restaurant etc. Nowadays, comfortable stay with easy connectivity for conveyance facilities are very important. Free wifi, good water facility. etc made me happy stay. good improvement.
No wifi. No intercom. No safety measures for ladies if they are staying there. Unclean rooms. Leaky taps.. Irresponsible staff. Paid breakfast is horrible. No landline number for contact. They sell themselves in OYO, Goibibo, Agoda stating they have many facilities. Its nothing but an average lodge. Not recommended for business stays as no wifi. Not recommended for ladies and elderly people as staff are irresponsible and leaky slippery washrooms.. Not recommended for kids as safety measures not followed. Actually not recommended for anyone. Please do not opt for this place to stay.
* Location wise it is good . *Staff at the reception are helpful. *If you are booking via OYO app not too shabby breakfast. *The building is very old and no lift available. *Small rooms and the tap water is very very salty.Its not even suitable for bathing.It would be nice if they could install a water softener. *All in all it's a good place to stay if you are looking for an AC room at a budget price.
I stayed there for two days. Staffs are very cooperative and helpful. Most of them understand Urdu and Bangla as they came from West Bengal. Location is great. Only con is their water. Water is salty..so I couldn't take my shower properly. Otherwise,it was nice experience.
Pros: 1.Location - easy access to the city.Public transporation.Easy to locate as it is almost in the anna salai(mount road) opposite to ymca main gate(nandanam) 2. Room boys are very helpful though they cannot converse in local language Tamil or English 3. Room tariff is nominal if booked through oyo for a AC room in that location Cons: 1. Very badly maintained.Old building. 2. The blanket and towels provided by them stinks badly 3. The water which we get in tap is straight from sea. Full salt water. Cannot even use it for bathing. Room boys simply say that the water softner is not working, exactly on the day of your visit. They also recommend another oyo hotel in that locality(you need to pay on spot, extra) if you are not ok with their rooms. 4.As somone pointed out, the staff insist you rate them high in front of them by opening the oyo mobile app.Guests will have to oblige else they will put some damage charges on them. 5.Being in Chennai, there should be atleast 1 or 2 tamil speaking staff which would help the guests.Atleast of they speak english it would help.
Rooms are just OK. Water was very salty and could not take shower properly. Communication was a problem since the staff members were not good in local language or English. The pricing is good and the location also. Other than those no attractions.
I make my payment online. When I go there for checkin they told to leave the place because of the online payment. As my checkin was at 12:00pm. I wait for one and half hour and I didn't get a room there. Please guys don't choose this hotel and also oyo shame on you and syed inn.. Completely poor experience.
I went there by booking my room through OYO and I reached at the hotel around 11.30 pm . The staff was not willing to accommodate us because the told i have done my payment online which is not accepted by them.They are telling that they are having an issue with OYO .OYO is not paying them correctly... Staff was very rude and behave very worse ... They switched off the fan in the lobby that we go out of the lobby because of mosquito... This is a genuine review and it made my day worse ... They made me wait for one and a half hour ... PLEASE DON'T CHOOSE THIS HOTEL This is a message for the owner.... I don't need your apologize... Don't comment under this as you done in previous negative comments...
