Flagship Hotel The Alohi Ghar - Hotel in Jorhat, Teok - Jorhat, India

I give 5 star to this hotel.Dont go for others comment.Only problem is pricing that has set by oyo.hotel owners are not accepting oyo price because of low tariff.i got 169 rupees room in alohi ghar which is not preferable to hotel owners.i realized early.when I talked to the owner I got to know everything.Owner is very honest person.I realized the entire problem. I SUGGEST EVERY ONE TO VISIT ALOHI GHAR.

Its a quite beautiful place. I only stays in Alohi Ghar when visit Assam.I suggest everyone to visit Alohi Ghar.I suggest my Mumbai friends also.The owner is now like my Brother.He is a great man. Feels like home away from.home.

Recently, I had an unfortunate experience when I visited Jorhat (Assam) and booked a OYO room ticket online via the Agoda website. The payment went through successfully and I received the ticket in my Gmail. However, upon showing the ticket at the hotel, they informed me that they were not collaborating with OYO at the moment, rendering my ticket invalid. As it was already 9 pm and no other rooms were available, I was left with no other option. It was evident that this was a fraud as the hotel was still listed on the OYO platform. I immediately reached out to the Agoda customer service by call , who then cancelled the ticket and refunded my money. I would like to take this opportunity to request OYO to remove OYO 23001 Alohi Ghar from its platform. If they do not take any corrective measures, I or any other customer can file a consumer case against OYO.

I booked a room from oyo and I called the property they said it's already sold out but they were showing rooms, after that I cancelled and booked another hotel and just checking again for alohi ghar they were taking bookings. It's a totally fraud hotel I have gone through other reviews also for this hotel, yes it is true that they show very less amount on various websites but charge extra when someone arrives at their hotel, and please stop your coercive behaviour towards guests because most of the guest come outsite of assam, don't set a bad example of assamese people and culture in front of them, doing business is good but don't become a bandit to have money. People are not fool and dont take advantage of good people. Hotel industry means to serve people not to loot them by telling lies

Dont book this oyo through online mode bcos they will charge you extra .i recommend you negotiate with the desk manager to give you a decent deal lol. The rooms are good enough. But the service is too slow even the food orders.

Denied entry by the owner and ask to pay more. So rude behaviour by the owner. I wonder why oyo is still associated with this hotel? Every online aggregating app must also ban this hotel as they don't care about customers. All the good reviews are paid i guess.. This hotel must be in -0 category. Never will book here or recommend others also not to even think about it for booking.

Ok let's go point to point 1. Reception/receptionist - This depends on which one you are dealing with. This place is run by father and son. If you get the son it's all cool but the father is somewhat grumpy and rude 2. Price - I would say it is a bit costly, i don't know about AC but non-AC is 1500 3. Staff - Staff is friendly they listen to requests quite well 4. Room - Room i would say is somewhat good, Tv, fans, lights working good, but the shower head was broken that caught my attention and it would be better if they provide a larger mirror

Rooms are decent but very much clean. Affordable prices. Rs1500 for AC & Rs1200 for Non-AC rooms. *Note: Please, do not book from OYO you might face problems checking-in.
