Overall food and ambience was good. But had poor experience with prawns fry. The prawns were not deveined. The veins weee clearly visible on the fried prawns so we couldn't have it. Chicken biriyiani and meals were good.

I had not gone there for any services. I stayed nearby and only they had chilled water. Even I am paying more money for bottled chilled water they treat me like some low life. I went with mom for soda as it was near and they were very rude. Not even giving us soda in hand and asking me to pick it up from frige as he was near it. The look and attitude is completely different. It is as if we are dining with them and they will be treated badly. It is not right to treat someone badly just because they are not dining with you(but still buy their products in the lobby rather than inside the hotel) . We still are customers as we buy with money they established and fair for me for proper customer service and treated with respect. Judging from a soda is 30 and they sell at 40 it is an expensive restaurant. If the service is good then money is worth it. But I don't think and never step foot in there again.
The staff was friendly and service was very quick. We took the Aila fish fry and veg meals. The fish was tasty and Fresh. Overall, very good experience.
Hi had come here for lunch today since I stayed at golden sand hotel . Firstly the owner attitude is not polite towards the customer , when complained of the food quality , he was unnecessarily scolding the server , He was not willing to take responsibility but just was playing blame game . We ordered three fish products king fish fry , Nethili fry and Ayalai Fry . Unfortunately all were old stocked ones and king wish was the worst of All, Atleast he could hv taken responsibility for the same , instead he just walked off to the kitchen to check on one of the spoilt item which was served as part of meals and while taking the payment , he just walked off since he dint want to waive off the amt for the spoilt food
The Restaurant is within the premises of Hotel Golden Sand. It is convenient for persons staying in that hotel to visit here. The Restaurant does not serve hot food, but it isn't too bad either. Their Veg fried rice and Onion Dosa was good! The food is somewhat expensive here. Their ambience is good and it is very spacious. Their service was excellent. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. We asked for hot water and they gave us without any hesitation.
This is the best hotel and restaurant I have ever visited and one of my favourite place velakanni I really enjoy my family tour........
We have ordered Beef fry with coconut..while ordering ,the waiter has informed,all beef items are 20 rs extra than mentioned in menu provided ; which makes us more impressive and we are expecting huge.. The delivered one is shown in the picture which is a disaster ... its unboiled beef mixed with coconut chammanthi.... To all kerala customers who might visiting this place..pls take this as a note... Don't order beef expecting what we are receiving in our hometown restaurants... its a trap..they don't know how actually beef fry looks like... Also all other foods we ordered are below averag too...
