Fish Lake - Park in Bylakuppe, Handigudda Kaval - Mysuru, India

This place is actually not known to many people, it has a beautiful view, too many fishes ( lovely to watch). Also we get biscuits to feed fish at the lowest price than the MRP. My daughter had a beautiful Sunday.

Blessed by His Holiness The Dalai Lama himself this lake is indeed a very peaceful spot. Best place for Bylakuppe evenings, go have a walk, feed the fish and speculate things of your own.

Peaceful place. Spot for feeding fishes and ducks.

Well maintained, they sell bread and biscuits at the entrance which we can buy and feed the fishes. So many fishes were swarming around. You might find snakes as well in the water. Sometimes you may find eagle, crane, ducks, peacock, crow as well.

People here come to feed fish and ducks.. and also to find peace and fresh air. You will find big fish in this lake. On auspicious day, Local Tibetan will rescue fish from market and releases in this lake. This lake is fish sanctuary. Fishing is not allowed here. You will find shop to buy fish foods at entrance. Do check this place if you visit Bylakuppe. This place is on the way to Golden Temple. So one can stop by and spend few min here.

Visited this place for an evening. It's a calm place where people come in to feed fishes in the lake. There is a walk way that leads from entrance end to other end of the lake with a fence and steps in between. Lake shore has waste bins to dispose packaging of food feed to fishes in the water and is utilised well by visitors to keep surrounding clean. There are benches on the walkway to rest for visitors. Good place to visit with friends and family. Lake is maintained by Tibetan community. Note: Walkway path land may face landslides in future as the ground soil loosened by weather. Came across a patch of land which had broken.

A wonderful place to hang out in the evening. Filled with fishes and beautiful fluttering prayer flags. Must visit.
