I haven't checked in into the room and cancelled the booking. I tried to check in at 10 AM which is 2 hours early. I was ready to pay bit of an additional amount. But to my surprise, we were asked to pay additional 1000 rupees per room just for additional 2 hours (the actual cost for 24 hrs when I booked was 2300 per room). So I canceled the booking and got some other good room nearby for 2200 along with additional 2 hr
First Inn Hotels Chennai is in prime location with access to food etc. Rooms are maintained in good condition. Drinking water quality is not good, better to have backup. Per night charges are more than 5 star hotel

Rooms are very average. During my stay, i had to switch rooms 3 times. The first one had water leakage, then the other room had a bad odour, the last room, and the AC didn't work. By this time i was too tired and settled with one. Pretty expensive for this room. One advantage is the location. Very near for people looking to go to the office in Global infocity and SP Infocity, or other tech parks in MGR salai I always tell this thumb rule when choosing hotels. If the management asks you to pay before your check in. Something is definitely wrong. Advance amount of 500 is fine, if they ask to pay the whole amount. Yep. That's a red flag.
Located in a good location surrounded with great halal food and other shops selling essentials. Have great rooms for very reasonable rates but only thing is the service provided here is little slow and not efficient. Overall they helped us in negotiating prices for long stay and provided us a very friendly experience
The place was right on MGR salai. I had to early check-in so paid extra. Irrespective of paying extra didn't a complimentary breakfast stating not available, but was given a complimentary breakfast on the second morning. The bathroom didn't have a dental kit and the water wasnt available in the evening. It had one towel and the room wasn't cleaned regularly. It had a comfortable bed and nice interiors but the service was incredibly poor and the maintenance was worse. The door didn't lock when I left for work. The service staff came and slammed the door to lock. Overall poor experience especially because of the rude front office person. Recommend not staying here.
Visited and stayed in 6th aug 2022. Booked via calling directly to the hotel number from google. Responsive reply with neat price. Receptionist also good. Having open parking in front for few cars. Ambience is great veranda having neat light and clean. Rooms are absolutely awesome. Small drawbacks didnt get hot water shower at night and no water bottle provided for that price of booking if asked for bottle need to pay extra but on request they give a bottle of filtered RO water. provided Decent breakfast in the morning
