First gear cafe is according to other cafes, very different, well organized and having beautiful scenes. .The food is amazing here. .music of your choice... .Staff is very friendly and humble. I especially loved n enjoyed it when I went here.

First Gear Cafe offers an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Surrounded by lush greenery and offering stunning panoramic views of the hills. Food is commendable but the service at this cafe is mediocre. The staff is attentive but they lack some friendliness.

Nestled on the scenic Mussoorie Road in Dehradun, First Gear Cafe is a hidden gem that will surely captivate your taste buds and provide a delightful culinary experience. Considering the quality of food, the pleasant ambiance, and the level of service provided, I found First Gear Cafe to be reasonably priced. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring that guests left the cafe feeling satisfied. The overall value for money was excellent, and I would gladly return to indulge in more of their culinary delights.

The views are amazing and also the location of this cafe is incredible and food is lovable and delicious. If anyone wants to eat some good food come here.

My all time fav place for Paneer Sandwich and coffee. Great Panoramic view of whole city, shiv Mandir and Rajpur. Personally, paneer sandwich & coffee is my go to food and I find best at First Gear Cafe. Come here right after a rain shower and you will fall in love with Dehradun - all over again. Keep in mind - if you are not confident about taking your vehicle up to cafe, park it on the roadside and climb up hill by foot. I always find 3-4 people rolling down the road with their vehicles every time I visit.

Location and atmosphere is awesome but food is not that good.. oreo shake was good. Noodles and chicken nuggets were okay but chilly paneer and chilly mushrooms were pathetic...they need to improve food quality to match other emerging good cafes of ddun..

I like the location , the view is amazing , I tried their 3 cold beverages 1: 1st gear bemisal ( guava based ) 2: 1st gear punch ( cole with crushed ginger and lemon ) 3: Oreo shake and I loved all of them . I had their chicken burger it's was ok. I stayed and worked here for 3-4 hours and love it , great view and staff is good
