Ferdin Cottage - Hotel in Kovalam, Kanyakumari - Kanniyakumari, India

Wonderful place to have fun with family and friends. We have very much enjoyed swimming pool. Atmosphere and Landscaping are nice to stay. Rooms are neat and clean. Although In House restaurant have limited variety of food, but fresh and tasty. If we order early, they will prepare well.

It located within 150meters near beach. The view from hotel to beach was awesome. Air flow is always there for u. At night times(10.30pm onwards) the beach is calm so u can here the sea waves clearly from the hotel. Morning breakfast free for 2 members and taste was good. Also price is reasonable. All types of rooms are available here. Recommended hotel, parking also available.

Stay was pleasant and comfortable. Room size could have been a little more spacious. The staff is kind and provided good hospitality. Price was little expensive compared to the room space. Swimming pool was neat and well maintained. Overall experience was good. Highly recommend for couples and family. Property is at 5 min drive to sun rise, sunset point and other tourist spots nearby.

Some of the interiors of the hotel may not be that great. But this is much much better than many private properties around the area. For 3000 rupees you get a good view of the ocean and a peace environment. Just 20-30mtrs walk to the beach. Sea view balcony. Owned by govt this is a good one I'd say for the price.

It is located just on the Beach. Wonderful view of the sea and beach from the sit out of the room. Very neatly and hygienically maintained rooms. Pleasing staff. You wont believe it is a State Government owned hotel. Far Far better than many private 3 star hotels. Only negative aspect is its restaurant is having very limited menu.

I have stayed for the last 2 days. Really very pathetic. Cost is not at all worth what they provided. I stayed in room no. 201, no draw, no cup board, even towel stand or shirt is not available. Such a disasters, told to change the room, no response. No GST bill. Please... please.... don't waste your money. There are lots of other options to this cost. This is my favour I can do for all who want really to enjoy at KK. Sorry to the cottage for this feedback since I totally upset. Good bye...

Very Poor room service and restaurant service. Actually no service at all. Over rated and over charged. Positive: The vintage look of the rooms Rooms pretty clean Very good Swimming pool, as the crowd is less, able to get time to use pool by the family/ ladies too. Negative: Restaurant is available, but no service in that. We waited for 30 mins and got the cold( may be prepared hrs before) dosa. No hot water cattle, tea/coffee mix are provided. In that case they shall provide the Tea/Coffee at least for pay. But while we r enquiring for Tea at 6PM, their response is now only the cook is waking up.. Will take more time. For Kanyakumari kind of location, early morning sight seeing only many will refer, but no Tea service also on that time in the restaurant is a very poor service example. If you do not expect any service in the resort itself then this is ok to book.

Very Nice 4 Star Resort very close to Beach and Sunset and Sunrise View point. They have well maintained 3 Swimming Pools to play in. Food also is tasty. Breakfast Buffet has nice spread too.
