Fenicia Riverside Resort - Resort hotel in Velim, Quitol - South Goa, India

We found this property through Instagram reels. Property is neat and clean with lots of greenery within. Staff is very polite and helpful. Food is amazing. Pool location is perfect. The only thing I noticed is that they have less guests , so it's a good place if you wanna enjoy with your family. Rooms are very neat and clean with all the amenities you need. Nearest beach is Cola beach which is 13-15km from the property.

Good room, amazing washroom. Average service , good attitude though. Good food and drinks, very expensive though. It misses being a good 3 star resort due to some finer details, at this price point it is a good deal.

Recently we stayed here with kids. We been here from 17-20 Nov for three nights and we really enjoyed the stay here in the Resort. Location of this place is not ideal if you want to explore beach or surrounding by just walk as most of the beaches are 8-20km far and almost nothing to explore around or in the resort. You need your vehicle or hired cab to explore more. In 3 days of our stay we been to palolem beach, cavelossim beach and colva. No any complain for Staff and room service. Being Pure Veg Chef has supported all of our request and he is gem. Library need upgrade or can be utilize as recreation room by adding more indoor games/activity, only Pool table is available. Swimming pool location is good and Kids can enjoy it.

Recently had a stay at this place. Service is bad. You have to call the room service for cleaning purposes daily. Also, INTERNET wasn't working even at the fourth and last day of checkout. Rooms are good, view is good, but you have to deal with issues pertaining to service.

We were 13people staying in fenicia from 2nd to 4th july 2023 1. We got room by 6:44pm check in time was 2pm 2. Receptionist said you can rest here in reception area or go to the library 3. Asked for manager. She said he's on leave. 4. We took 3 family rooms from Make my trip on 22nd june before 10days 5. Reason from hotel: sir we had late check out today so we can't help it. I asked you should inform me yesterday about this she's didn't say anything. 6. All 3 family room has issue with lock's battery but they took 90mins to figure-out poor team to resolve problems. 7. Pool's water was with over chlorine. 8. Pool's led lights were sounding with short-circuit noise it was connected to the pool and its water. Unsafe it was ! 9. Other staff behaviour was totally good. 10. Receptionist was calm and ready to help but still nothing was in her hand. 11. 2nd night one of our room got power issue by its own they took 45mins to change our room and allocated us another one. 12. They didn't provide mattress to clean feet in all two days and i have asked for two times. 13. Telephone was not working in 411 asked to give us working telephone but no respond. Network was poor so if i need something i need to walk through pool area and i need to talk via my phone only. 14. Food taste was good. 15. Restaurant manager was co operative but they keep remind you we will close restaurant by 10:30 weather you are on time or not. We left restaurant by 10:44am after breakfast on day one and 10:29am after breakfast 16. We did check out by 10:55am on last day

We had booked 3 rooms with hope that we will get the kind of service and experience as shared on reviews of google, tripadvisor, booking, agoda etc....but what we got is an absolute dissapointment. Apart from our 1 room, we had persuaded our family members who had booked 2 room on our advise. The feedback is as follows Pros 1. Staff Courteous and always trying to help despite multiple flaws on the property 2. Food The restaurant was probably the one and only thing which somehow kept us in the hotel. Jatin the F&B manager was brilliant and all the meals were good. Cons (sit back and relax as there is a huge list) 1. Rooms A. Smell All the rooms had an obnoxious smell in the beginning but the worst experience was with my family member's room where there was a pathetic sanitation smell though the AC vent. Despite multiple complaints it continued for a long period. B. Non functional AC We had to change rooms as the AC wasn't working. Also despite change of room, the problem was persistent. C. Intercom Imagine calling the help desk/ restaurant / room service by calling the front desk reception from your cell everytime you faced an issue or had a requirement. We had a lot of issues with this. Despite the team trying to repair, till our stay of 4 days they couldn't resolve the issue. D. Cleanliness The attention to detail in terms of cleanliness seems negligible. Refer the pics attached of the room where we stayed. The washrooms were not upto the standard of a good hotel. E. Non existent Management We had booked our rooms in consultation with manager named Shailendra. Apparently he resigned the same day when we checked in. All the issues we had, unfortunately the front desk staff had to face the flack but couldn't find the solutions. F. Swimming Pool On my 3rd day when all things were going downhill, I thought let's forget the bad experience and start anew. But while I took a morning walk besides the swimming pool, there were fish bones left on the swimming pool side. Check the pics attached. After this, we never entered the pool (also we are vegetarians) . It was a pukish and pathetic sight.

We stayed here for two nights. Awesome property. Calm and peaceful. Staff is very helpful. Food is also tasty. Being pure veg we felt options little less but whateverveg items we had were great in taste. Superb breakfast spread, infinity pool and seating. Constant cool breeze all around. Wasn't feeling to venture out after checking in. This was such quiet and peaceful place. Loved the stay and shall visit again for sure.

Poor location: property is located in the fisherman colony- far from the beaches with no quality eating options available Rooms: spacious but no view. Service: substandard room service staff Food : quite average but highly expensive for the quality
