I loved the room. Very beautiful and big. The hotel is embellished with old stone structures giving it a nice fort like feel. The pool is not deep. Good for people who don't swim but want to enjoy in water.
They offer outdoor activities. You can book your slot on reception for archery, shooting, etc. They will take you to a different location for these activities.
My room was lake view with stunning greenery.
All in all very comfortable and lovely stay.

We visited Udaipur just to rest and recuperate this time and couldn't have had a better experience than Fateh Niwas. Breathtaking beautiful property, spotless clean rooms and washrooms and above all the extremely good behaviour of staff. Not once did we feel the need to repeat anything we asked for. All smiling faces and polite behaviour: we were very happy! Would love to come back.

Staff is also very polite and the rajasthan palatial feel that you were looking for , you would somewhat be able to feel it as the artifacts collection , the expansive garden , the fort like boundaries the gazibos makes you feel royal.
Although a slight away from the main buzz of the city life and lakes but of you want to dwell into the arms of peace and comfort this could be a destination for you..recommended for people having their own cars..Breakfast was also of good quality and decent variety..A suggestion, if you could include more rajasthani styled meals in your daily buffet.That would bring in an extra honour and royalty.
