A silent monument standing in the middle of the street right next to a well maintained park and a beautiful lake. The architecture is strong and pleasing. A must visit if you're exploring Hyderabad and its rich culture.
Nice place for the children under 10 yrs old, entry ticket is very very low, they can maintain it very good but it's not happening.....
Awesome place! you can enjoy the view of Hyderabad standing at the top of the gate !
Park is very good, first of all price is only Rs.5/- for adults.. It's very near to langer house and golconda area..autos are available.. You can bring your own food to have..there is no food stalls in the park..bring water bottle for your convenience.. Park is big you can enjoy with your family for Greenery..
This is one of the main entrance of golkonda fort. Looking good to see. It is one of the historical places to see. The park is looking good beside this. A very good park to make our mind peace and playing things are available at this park. City buses are rare but autos will be available.
The Fateh Darwaza was a prominent entrance to the city of Qila Mohammadnagar, the Qutb Shahi capital city of the kingdom of Golconda. This entrance was renamed the Fateh Darwaza when Aurangzeb made his triumphal entry into the city after the 8-month-long siege ended with a treasonous transaction. Before that, it was called the Baghnagar darwaza - it was the gate you took if you wanted to go to Hyderabad. The road led more or less in a straight line to the Purana Pul, the first stone bridge across the Musi, and then on to Char su ka hauz (today's Gulzar hauz), from where you could head on the highway to the kingdom's principal port of Machilipatnam. This made it the principal highway of the trade-focused Qutb Shahi kingdom.
Don't use this entry, always traffic jams, people have no patience not follow traffic rules... If you say something to bikers and Auto walas when they break rules they will come to fight and create nuisance.
Two stars less because people are making dirty this historical place by climbing top and drinking wine and wine bottles and waste over it and fixing idols on the way below Fateh darwaza where traffic jams now and then.

Clock Tower beautifully decorated with lights made it look different from what we see in morning. Definitely, a place to hangout with friends. It's over crowded during weekends. Parking was there for bikes. I watched reels on Instagram about this pla

It is the oldest bridge on the Musi River, which is why it's called Purana Pul. Purana Pul is one of the landmarks of Hyderabad dynastic. Even after hundreds of years, the bridge is very strong, and Handling Musi River floods in the monsoon seasons
