Heard the name, so I visited the Farsa restaurant in Nilambur. Went for breakfast and it was already packed. Good decor and there is ample parking space. Clean and maintained. Ordered mutton curry and fish mulakittathu or fish in red chilli sauce, with kerala paratha and appam. Think the food is a bit overrated. The mutton curry had just one piece that needed to be cooked properly. Fish curry had one small piece. Paratha was a bit too oily. Appam was soft and good. Taste was ok, so was the quantity of the gravy.

Farsa Restaurant, a well-known establishment in northern Kerala since 1940, has expanded its presence to Nilambur as well. I have tried a variety of dishes there, including Al Faham, Biriyani, broast, and mandi, and overall, the food is good. However, I must express my disappointment with their service. On my first visit, it took them 20 minutes just to take my order, followed by an additional 35 minutes for the food to arrive. This was quite frustrating. During a recent office function with a group of 10 people, some of the items we ordered were missing. Nonetheless, the Al Faham dishes and Surbiani rice we had were satisfactory.

A wonderful restaurant with absolutely moving ambiance and quite attractive atmosphere, with a wide opening to the Ooty Highway and plenty of parking at the frontage. The foods are of superb quality yet not of breath-taking taste (ONLY for this branch, I mean). The ambiance inside is beautiful and the calm and quiet atmosphere is sheer greatness!

It's not first time I'm visiting Farsa and this time was bit bitter experience. Biriyani was pretty nice before and became average now. Also served 12 piece of small chicken fried pieces named as chicken 65 for Rs. 290 + GST. ie a too small Chicken priced as 25 rupees. Educate either your Shef or chicken supplier about the size of chicken 65.

Super awesome place to be and food was too good. Nice staffs. Humble behavior. Crowded space obviously. We have ordered mutton alfahm,neyathiri and porotta. Mutton leg was well cooked n really tasty. Neypathal was average but porotta was so fluffy n soft. Parking was also spacious and got staffs managing it which was helpful.

Good for Parking, Not for Food Don't buy biryani from this place; they don't seem to know what biryani is or how it's supposed to taste. I suggest sticking to soft drinks and desserts, but definitely avoid the food. This restaurant is only good for its parking facilities.
