Farm - Resort hotel in Bengaluru - Bengaluru Urban, India

I had a disappointing experience at the Chitravana farm house. The management tried to fit eight people in a room with a double bed, resulting in an extremely congested space. Despite their claims that these rooms were villas, they were far from it, and the premium price of 22.3k for one night did not justify the cramped accommodations. To make matters worse, the management did not reserve rooms despite our advance payment, leading to confusion and a frustrating check-in experience. The receptionist was unprofessional and did not value our time, which added to the overall negative experience. However, the lunch was one bright spot, as it was tasty and enjoyable. Unfortunately, despite the valid reasons for our dissatisfaction, the management did not refund our money, leaving us feeling frustrated and disappointed. Overall, I cannot recommend the Ambara Rustic Onago resort. The poor accommodations, unprofessional staff, and lack of customer service left us with a negative impression and a sense of wasted money. The pictures are actually misleading and the resort is not as clean as it looks in the pictures.

We booked this place for new year, food was too salty and lunch time was 3.30 and dinner served at midnight 12. They did not serve all the dishes which were promised earlier. Kitchen was very dirty and unhygienic. Mushroom manchuri tasted weird. Tea was like drinking a brown color water. Staff were very rude and impulsive. There was a band organized who only sung old kannada songs and devotional songs. Not at all recommend and they looted money and did not do the justice. And the owner collected all money prior, half as advance and other half when we arrived.

The place is not at all well maintained. The rooms are dirty. The beds , pillows and other related items are all dirty. Bathrooms have doors with no locks . The pool looks good from the outside but is infested with algae so be careful before jumping into the pool. The entrance of the place is muddy , it is so bad that your two wheelers can skid and fall. Overall :- Go to this place if you are tight with budget but rest assured you won't enjoy anything while you are there Edit 1 :- The place has been taken over by a new management and they have made many changes and the place has improved a lot. The place is now clean and well maintained. The rooms are tidy. The pool also has been maintained well now. The service is very good. Food was reasonably good. Food options can be improved though. Water shortage issue was seen in this place and that could be looked into.

Please dont fall for negative reviews. Visited this resort this weekend...the manager is not at all rude like how many have mentioned in reviews...the staff is very friendly.. This is actually very challenging price for the stay and worth.. You can get food and beverages from outside play music.. Best place to have fun with gang. Visit once and you will definitely plan for it again.

All the review are true as i observed We booked this farmhouse for new year, food was very disgusting, all the care takers are drunk and never supplied the food which he promised while booking. Rooms were not clean and smells very bad.

Very rude behaviour from staff. Unsafe for girls. The attitude of the staff towards girls weren't proper and they tried entering room . Very bad experience . We didn't file a case since we are not from the place and didn't had the time. If the purpose of your trip is to enjoy never choose this place for your own good.

Hospitality and response from owner isn't good.... Swimming pool is not well maintained Rooms are average.... Overall did not like the experience...

Not sure y this place has got so many bad reviews, loved this place absolutely, bathrooms wer lil dirty, but manageable.. 100% privacy, we'll definitely feel like as this is our own property must visit. Not recommended for couples, but for boys, this place is
