Well maintained and nice park. Children can play in the seasaw, slide etc and adults can enjoy the beautiful garden and comprehend the history, the indigo revolt was brutally suppressed by the British by hanging the revolters.
Developed this historical place as a children's park and Monument. But old trees are non existing now. This pattern of development cutting trees and damaging nature is not welcome.
This place is located at Chandrakona Town of West Midnapur district in West Bengal, India. This historical place reflects the brutal story of British Period in India. They used to hang local Indian who were involved in "The Indigo Revolt".

Okay to visit one time, but it's a historical place where in ancient time at BRITISH PERIOD, poor farmers were hanged there as they can't produce enough Indigo by farming and rebellion occured during several times.
Nice place to hang out and feel the sacrifice of our ancestors
