Fairydale Resort - Resort hotel in Lansdowne - Pauri Garhwal, India

Note: This hotel is no more in service after the lockdown! I visited this place 4 yrs ago aand it's an awesome heritage hotel to stay in! This hotel was build in 90s and has amazing British era vibe! Location is so beautiful and this hotel is nearby the Bhulla lake! Parking space is also available but you have to drive a little off-road distance, just 100m from the main road!

Nice exterior with lovely surroundings. Rooms are very average for the price packages available. Decent food included in the package and quality is at par with any of the restaurants out in the main market. Parking is available but no other resort amenities... Come and read a book, it's a peaceful place. Overall 3 star's.

We went for a family vacation here. The family room is huge and the high cowlings give a real sense of space. The property is definitely old and you can tell, but very homely and comfortable. The bathroom and amenities are decent. The place is nestled in the hills and is very Serene and beautiful. And the staff and management are very helpful and accommodating. We asked for a hot water bottle at night cause one of us started shivering uncontrollably and they arranged one for us without being a pain.

In Lansdowne, this is one of the few places available to stay, rest are bit far from the centre. The resort is surrounded by tall pine tress and looks magnificent. The whole bungalow is very well maintained and full of greenery and places to sit and relax. Privacy is very much there. The food quality is also very good. The owner and attendees are also well behaved and helpful. From this resort all the visitable places can be accessed on foot and by car also.

Words fail to describe the beauty of the place. Calm, serene, old world charm. Staff and food too good. The warm, fresh food tastes all the more good when you enjoy it in the open lush green surroundings feeling the chilly air blowing across. A warm mug of coffee or tea and a book - what else do you need. Love this place.

A very enticing place located ideally amidst wilderness . A serpentine road takes you away from the city quitely to a world of flowers peace and happiness. We had a two day stay in perfect harmony with nature. The Management, staff , location , food architecture everything was perfect to make you unwind and feel relaxed. The food was great, service superb, staff amiable and friendly. A non- intrusive Atmosphere making you feel delighted and relaxed. I will recommend it to all although the journey from Delhi to the place was very tiring .

The resort is located at just the perfect location. Good views from the resort. The rooms were nice and clean. The food too was decent. At night you could just sit in the garden and enjoy the night sky full of stars.

It's a Historical Resort built-in 1912. Very Beautiful and scenic place. All the facilities provided are up to mark.The Management and the staff are very co-operative and efficient. All site seeing places in LANSDOWNE are within reach. Food is very nice,have their own kitchen and restaurant.Perfect place for hospitality.
