Front desk staff tried their best but given that the place was full the front desk began to resemble a zoo. Floors in the room were dirty - hadn't been swept in a while. Phone did not work requiring frequent trips to the front desk thereby contributing to the "zoo". These things are unusual for a Marriott, and I've stayed for more than 1,000 nights in them worldwide with no complaints whatsoever. Service was, in a word, sleepy! Location is great - close to few things to see and experience in ahmedabad eg, the Gandhi ashram.

Rooms are decent, food is supremely delicious and hygiene standards are impressive! My respect grew for the employers when I saw differently abled people also employed there. A great step by the management. Would definitely like to visit again and recommend to my friends too. They need to focus on their Security though which I found to be lax. Rest, it was a great experience.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Marriott. Despite having a confirmed reservation, my booking was abruptly canceled without a valid reason. It became apparent that my room was canceled solely because I had secured a lower rate, and there was a significant event happening in the area during my stay. This practice not only demonstrates a lack of respect for loyal customers but also raises serious concerns about the hotel's commitment to service integrity. Instead of honoring a confirmed reservation, it seems they chose to prioritize higher rates over customer loyalty. This experience has significantly tarnished my view of Marriott and has made me reconsider future stays with the chain. Their lack of communication and proper resolution has left me stranded and inconvenienced. I expected much better service and professionalism from a reputed brand like Marriott.
