Exotic BIRD PARK @ Kookyland - Tourist attraction in Mettupalayam - Coimbatore, India

You can very well spend half an hour to one hour inside the park.. They provide us a plate of sunflower seeds or corn seeds to feed the birds.. If the birds are hungry they flock to us in groups. It's really interesting to feed them , and they come to us with ease.. Kids and pet lovers will enjoy the place. It's well maintained and airy. The birds often target the ears and jewellery pieces which one must take care of. It's one of the best experiences in recent times. YOU PEOPLE WILL REALLY ENJOY IT ! Price : Kids 100/ per person Adults 200/per person

Very nice experience . Everyone from my family enjoyed it as an animal lover I felt that few more things to be done for the loving birds .. Bird park authority can provide more space for the parrots to sit rather than on the net .. please provide some stands or small trees and the temperature was a little hot inside due to the sheet roof.. please kindly consider these suggestions

The park closing time is 8pm but it supposed to closed at 6pm, because after sunset there is no use of visiting this place. There is no proper lights for visitor visiting after 6pm, even some of the lights flickers which irritates even more. At first the ticket price was 100rs for adults, but recently it changed to 200rs which is very high and not worth for this small cage. Overall experience was bad as we visited this place at 6:30pm.

It's just an experience to be among exotic birds and perspective may differ according to the taste and time spent here. Not a big facility but a very compact one. They charge Rs.200/- per person and nobody is sure whether its worth for money. It differs person to person but, Im satisfied. There are employees who takes care and obviously salary will be there and maintenance too. They provide feeds for the birds, rats, reptiles housed there. Kids, ladies will love it as they can encounter birds by holding it and observing it closely. Even adults will love it as it provides some nice photographs for us to pose with the birds. You can see some macaws spelling familiar words like 'Hello', 'Hai' etc. One time experience is good. On the way to Ooty and adjacent to Black Thunder-theme park. Parking facility is available.

Had great time playing with exotic birds. Conures, macaw, lorikeet etc are there. The park is small and ticket price is high. 200 for adults, 100 for kids below 10 years. But it was a nice experience: you can feed birds, play with them and have fun. Has free parking, pay and use toilets, children's park etc.

One time visit place especially for children who love exotic birds, snake and hamster . Entry Ticket cost - 200rs for each that I felt too much for this place, for children it cost 100rs. For the python snake,African parrots to handle it in hand cost 100rs separate charges. Overall i would say one time we visit this place if you're going to Ooty. I don't recommend making a trip to visit this place.

Very expensive; Not worth for entry fee (200 for Adult, 150 for children) very small place with less birds. You can spend maximum 10-15 mins inside the place. Not recommended for this entry fee.
