its an amazing place to hangout with your family and make some good memories...the sunset is just beautiful...not that much rush as compared to other nearby spots on weekdays....lot of nearby sea food restaurants are there...they are open till late night..there are two nearby mosques to the spot...vizhinjam fishing harbour is also nearby you can buy fresh fish at reasonable price also... other nearby spots are light house and kovalam beach

Harbour evening park, it's an amazing place to hangout with your family and friends. Especially the beauty of evening sunset is an unforgettable experience. Now-a-days little rush has seen Mostly at weekends and holidays. If you're a seafood lover, There lots of seafood restaurants nearby this park. This place is now famous for tasty seafoods dishes and serves late night foods.

Sky and beach meet here. Close to the kovalam beach this is a high table view to the extensive coastal city. The place is just a view point though. The beach is approximately 2.5 km from this point where you can enjoy the sea, the food , and also some water sports as well. There are life guards always on duty which will help you to get into the sea as well. You also have a shower room available just by the beach at a very reasonable price therefore just jump into the the sea without a second thought. The beach is not so crowded , majorly tourists from abroad, therefore giving you a feel of Goa. I drove to this place from Chennai and to be honest this was not at all disappointing. The lighthouse looks really beautiful with the red and white paint on it.

Harbour Road is kind of picturesque scenic road adjoining beautiful Vizhinjam beach with blue waters. The moment you start driving in this road you get a feel of driving in somewhat calm enchanting place. You can stop at many spots and take superb shots of Vizhinjam beach from top and also of Kovalam lighthouse. Once you reach dead end you get to see the harbour extension. You can also see the distant Vizhinjam fish market at shore of other end for which you need to take left from harbour road at one point and go downwards. This definitely is a must visit road in Trivandrum.

Overlooks the sea over a rocky beach. One of the best views possible. Try visiting just before the sunset, the view is mesmerizing. The settings sun reflected over water looks like a sea of gold. There are multiple restaurant on the other side which serve one of the best sea foods. There aren't much attraction here so it's never crowded. But definitely a must visit place..

Very nice ambience . Vizhinjam is an area and natural port located close to international shipping routes in Thiruvananthapuram in the Indian state of Kerala. Kovalam beach lies 3 kilometres from Vizhinjam while the area is known for its Ayurvedic treatment centers and internationally acclaimed beach resorts. But need some development for the place. This place should be clear and clean.

Very good place to spend time with family. Evening time view here is just amazing

Great place to enjoy the sunset and the wind. Recently many seafood restaurants have opened up nearby. The road is in a pretty bad condition.
