It's around 30 mins from nagarjuna sagar dam area..adequate parking..too many monkeys. Entry fee of rs 30 to see the waterfalls from up close. There is a restaurant and toilets.
View point distance is more than 100m far from the waterfalls
Today we decided to explore the other side of Ettipothala falls and we discovered the beautiful views this place holds is really amazing. We just fell in love with the forest and the peace it offers along with refreshing air and such a relaxing atmosphere.
Ettipotala water falls is good tourist point near nagarjuna sagar dam. Nice serene place to be.. AP tourism has developed less in this area. Not even a tea shop. The view points looks old. No cafeterias.
Toll is collected to those who come from Nalgonda at AP check post, then at the turning to Ettipotala water falls and at the gate of view point. But there is noting to enjoy near this view point.
But the water falls are good to see. I think, during the month of july-september - rainy season, this waterfall will look good.
Good place to visit near by to Nagarjun Sagar dam, place is little bit crowded but maintained well and you can get a clear view of the waterfall from this palce. People are not allowed to go down, entry ticket is there for adults and children.
It's awsome place to go with family, but be aware from monkeys
I've a more than 2 decades of connection wit this place. I'm being a native of Miryalaguda, this place was always a ready to go destination for us as it was hardly an hour drive from our place. The water falls are majestic and good thing is they never dry up even in summer season unlike other water falls. There's nothing there much to do and the place should've been properly developed and good food courts must've been added to make it more interesting. We were able to go down through steps and able to catch this falls at temple and able to spot some peacocks as this one was comes under nallamalla jungle. It would've been nice if they had developed a diving or bathing area near to the falls. Unfortunate that this place is full of trees and the alligator numbers have grown here. So, it's dangerous to get near to water falls. Still the sound of water falls resonates in my ears and it was serene.
The place is maintained by telangana state tourism. Far from the city, inbetween a forest range, with almost all kind of comfort amenities, this is a reliable place where one can take rest while staying in either ac or non ac rooms, having good foods. Though one may not get a lot of options in menu but whatever they serve have good tastes. Cost of food is not at the higher side. And the room rents are below 2000. So overall it's a good weekend destination.
This park offers a view of the falls from a distance. It's not possible to go near the falls from here. And it doesn't look like, it's the kind of falls, where you can stand under.
Very nice place. Must visit atleast once. It was lovely in the evenin
