Ethipothala Waterfall Park - Featured Reviews (2354)
Very nice place. Peaceful, serene place. Excellent atmosphere in the lap of nature. Greenery is maintained good. Parking space is there near by entrance gate. Outside food probably not allowed inside park but outside park you can have it. You can find local street vendors selling juices here.
It's just a view point, it is 13 kms from Sagar dam. Need to take entry ticket 30rs.
You can view the falls from afar, cannot go near it. There is no boating facility either. Park entrance for adults is Rs.30 and kids between 5-12 are charged Rs.20. Tickets are valid for single entry only. At forest check post you need to shell another Rs.30 and before that at the border, cops are charging Rs.50/100 depending on the vehicle and they do NOT provide any receipt for it. The whole set up is designed to extract money from tourists. Park is barely maintained. Scenery is nice, but that's about it. Worth visiting once, only if you are around this area. Lots of monkeys around. Need to be vigilant with your belongings.
This park offers a view of the falls from a distance. It's not possible to go near the falls from here. And it doesn't look like, it's the kind of falls, where you can stand under. Very nice place. Must visit atleast once. It was lovely in the evening time. Monkeys are around, ready to snatch anything that looks edible from your hands. There is also a cave temple, though a side entrance outside, but we did not visit that.
Today we decided to explore the other side of Ettipothala falls and we discovered the beautiful views this place holds is really amazing. We just fell in love with the forest and the peace it offers along with refreshing air and such a relaxing atmosphere.
Waterfall is real beautiful but sadly you cannot go near it just can see it from the view point and can visit the temple around entry fee is applicable approx 30 rs. Not many food stall, haritha restaurant wasn't being operated but it exists
Nice place to visit from Nagarjun sagar dam. Place is little bit crowded but well maintained. You can get a clear view of waterfall from that place. Entry tickets are there for adults and children.
The place is amazing, maintained by Telangana state government. A quiet place yet there you find all basic amenities for food and lodge, there are birds, monkeys, squirrels, dogs and some rabbits around which gives a feel of a zoological park. The entry fee to the fall is 20 rupees.
