The best vegetarian hotel near Palakkad junction railway station. Neat, clean and hygienic restaurant and kitchen. You can taste a large varieties of South Indian veg. dishes.
Very bad. Ordered lunch for two on IRCTC site. Supplied at the last moment when train is about to leave, that too calling the customer out of his seat to the gate. Did not contain buttermilk which was included in menu. Packing awful. Packed both meals together causing great inconvenience. Price doesn't match the quality of food, service or the feel. Should improve a lot.
Shame on this hotel.
I ordered food from this hotel through irctc ecatering and they never delivered taking my money. Now I am hungry for my whole journey without dinner.
Even the number they gave is switched off.. never bothered to call me and update on delivery situation.

Its not about the refund of money, its about letting people know what your high class business standard is. Atleast once if u had called to let me know the situation i wud have let it go. Even now rather than apologizing for the inconvinience caused you are here to instruct me? You want me to find ur number through irctc customer care and then inform u about the situation?! Hysterical! Provide ur proper number where it should be put in the first place. Not a switched off one.

Best vegitarian restaurant near railways station.
Use the restaurant which is outside the railway station. The one which is inside the railway station platform2 is worse. But the restaurant outside is superb and very good taste. And online food order also possible to deliver on train

I am giving rating only fot the coffee here. Its one of the best we can have from a railway station. There is a counter on one side were they give tea coffee and snacks.Its open 24hrs
It's a branch of Erode Cafe Restaurant located near the Palakkad Junction. An economical & decent veg restaurant within the Junction. Food is hygienic and the service is quite good. It will be better if they take order through phone and deliver the food in the train which will benefit a lot of passengers.

One of the best chicken biriyani I ever had that too at 125 rs combo it includes chicken 65 pieces halwa eggmasala and brinjal curry .it's very cheap but quality was premium .I don't know how they manage to deliver at this rate .
