I recently had the opportunity to receive medical treatment for my dad at General hospital and I am pleased to say that my experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment I entered the facility until the time of discharge, the level of care and service provided by the hospital staff was truly outstanding. First and foremost, the doctors and nurses demonstrated a high level of expertise and professionalism. They were attentive, compassionate, and took the time to thoroughly explain diagnosis, treatment options, and any potential risks or complications. The hospital's infrastructure was impressive as well. The premises were clean, well-maintained, Took the AC rooms after surgery ( payward ) it cost around 1500/- per day . Kudos to the whole management and Kerala health department for maintaining it very well , Really we need other government hospital also like these in future .

General Hospital Ernakulam offers a middle-of-the-road healthcare experience. The services provided are generally decent, and the staff is helpful, though there might be some delays. It's a reliable choice for basic medical care, falling somewhere between disappointing and exceptional.

Very good medical services a bit crowded but good treatment and they are making changes to old building now medicines are given in another place. New block feels like a private hospital it's very well built and maintained

Very disappointing experience from the side of staffs , although doctors are much better but few of the staffs are worst .These are the ones who are spoiling the reputation of a hospital and that too a govt. based one . The lady sitting in the reception under the super speciality had shown her true face as they are not willing to help customers.These ones should be thrown out from their service as they aren't deserved to be part of this reputed hospital. This is one of the reasons why common people are seeking medication and treatments from private hospitals

I really loved this hospital ,General Hospital, Ernakulam is a state-owned hospital, with excellent super speciality facilities for training and treatment in cardiology, ctvs, nephrology, urology along with internal medicine, general surgery in Kochi, India. It is managed as part of the public health system of the government of Kerala

Ernakulam General Hospital is a great example of how the public healthcare system have failed us. Despite having great infrastructure and equipment, the way the staff and nurses treat patients is terrible. They act unprofessionally, without any compassion, and often argue and act arrogantly. I've never had such a bad experience in my life. One particular lady at the blood collection unit stands out for her cruel behavior. She yelled at me and insulted me for showing up just five minutes early to get my test results. It turns out she treats most people this way, especially elderly and poorer patients. It's sad to see a healthcare place treating people so badly-the one place where you expect some level of kindness and compassion for human life. I come from a middle-class family and can speak up for myself, but think about the many people who can't. Most of the patients here are from poor families and have had a tough life. They're mainly older folks. It's awful to think they have to go through so much in life and then get treated horribly at this hospital. I hope someday those unkind staff members face the consequences of their actions. I hope they get treated the way they've treated others. I hope things get better for the people who come here. This place deserves just one star, and if it were possible, a negative rating for the terrible and inhumane behavior. I hope someone takes legal action against these entitled people one day and i hope they all rot in hell for this mistreatment. Never visiting again.

I have done MRI here. The rate was very low compared to private centers. Definitely we have to wait even though we booked early,as more peoples are there. And there new block building also good, well maintained.

Only one doctor is assigned in Casualty ..many patients are waiting .such a bad service.this is the main reason why people are moving to pricy hospitals..... government is so good in deducting money from people through different ways but not even providing proper facilities....
