I didn't think national forests in India could be so breathtaking. 100% must visit for your Munnar trip. The drive up to the park in the bus is an experience in itself. Incredible views of the entire valley. And the walk up from bus drop off is so quiet and peaceful with lush greenery, mountain top view, goats .

Not worth the hype...i m sure if every gisutor give a review rating will go down and authority will understand this is not worth what they are charging for plus have to wait in long queue (total mismanagemnet in queue alsoas they ahve different queue for offline and online ticket booking) Officer not able to manage qeue people jumping queue and the kne waiting since long keep waiting Only thing its scenic form top and few goats roaming here and there , but that u can find everywhere in munnar, no need to spcecially go there just to see few goats by paying 200 rs per person , until ur really very fond of seeing niligiri thar ...total waste of time and money for us

You'll get to see different types of flowers and plants. A great view to experience once you get to the top. Have to wait for your turn to get on the bus which might take few minutes. There's a coffee shop and a bakery inside which is slightly overpriced. Overall a nice spot to capture a lot of pictures if you are looking for new insta/whatsApp DP

Its worth visiting. Here they preserve nilgiri tahr and its advised not to touch or take photos with them. There's a bus which you can hail after purchasing entry ticket which is 200 per person. The bus takes you up the mountain and drops you there. From the point you can trek up the mountain along the roads for a kilometer. All along the way you can watch astonishingly beautiful scenery along and above and below clouds!

You should have great experience. Ticket cost for adults 200/- and 150/- for kids upto 12years, National park team members drop you in their own vehicle upto one point, from then you should walk 4kms up and down

A perfect place to enjoy the beauty of nature. Definitely visit Eravikulam National Park while visiting Munnar. If you board the bus from the National Park parking area, it is about a kilometer walk from the last stop of the bus.

Eravikulam National Park occupies a space of approximately 100 km2 in the upper Western Ghats in the state of Kerala. A major part of it is virgin forest land with dense forests in the valleys, easing out into shrubs at higher altitudes and merges into grassland, at a height of about 6500 ft and above. Some very tall flowering trees are seen in abundance in the lower reaches and in the densely-forested and moisture-laden valleys. The region is almost perennially green due to 100s of rain-fed rivulets that finally join the Periyar river. I had visited in 2014-15 and walking about aimlessly here was a major stress-buster.
