Good place to know about fire station. Very well explained.. Totally free and most importantly it's open 24*7
If you are interested in equipment of fire brigade and what kind of works they carry out, this is a great place to be. We got a guided tour where the fireman showed us the different nozzles, protective suits, cutters, lights and other pieces of equipment which the Fire Brigade uses to carry out their rescue operations. The icing on the cake was the first fire engine of Pune (1956). It is in perfect working condition. This museum is maintained by the Pune Municipal corporation and is also free.
An interesting place to get yourself acknowledged with various types of fire brigade instruments and techniques. A must visit place and it's free to visit.
A must go place for all Fire Brigade enthusiasts. They have arranged all their gears and equipments with all the information. Staff is very cooperative, patient and informative as well. My kids were very happy to see the fire engines and firemen.

Efforts put by the fire station team for maintaining the museum inside active Fire station is comandable. Maintained many things and they are planning to add more. One person from firestation will come with you and explain everything based on his knowledge which gives it a personalized touch. All present officer were welcoming and helpful. People are not much aware of the good work done by them.

We had a official visit to this place from our college. We didn't have much expectations but this was such a good place. They had good collections of vintage as well as modern fire fighting equipments. The officials were very helpful and explained everything in detail. The even gave us a demo of working of the fire tender. If you are into fire and safety field then you must visit this fire station.
